Hoosiers open the weekend with a 5-1 win.   Gilley and Kraft combined to limit the Bruins to 4 hits.  We had 7 hits led by Stadler with 2.  Taylor and Cerny each 2 RBI both on 2-run HRs.  Dickerson had a solo shot.

UCLA takes today's game 7-4.  Bruins 5 of their 12 hits were for extra bases off 3 IU pitchers.  We managed 9 hits but left 8 on base.  Try again tomorrow.

Well, we won the series opener and then dropped games #2 and #3.  Today's score 6-3.  UCLA scored 2 in the first and 1 in the second and didn't look back.  They collected 10 hits off 4 Hoosier pitchers who also issued 7 BB.  Our offense could muster just 6 hits.  We're now 13-11 and 5-4 on the season.  We host Bellarmine Tuesday at 5:00 and USC will be in Bloomington next weekend for a 3-game series.
