Revenge is sweet.  In a quarterfinal U16 game, Indy Heat beat Meanstreets 76-75 on a half-court buzzer beater from Mack Welker.  Yesterday, it was Jahari Miller doing the same thing for an OT win.  Indy Heat's lone circuit loss was to Meanstreets back on July 11.

Najai Hines and the New York Rens will play in the Peach Jam final Sunday. Hines with 13pts 10rebs 3 stls and 1blk in the qtr win over Team Melo and 11pts 7rebs 2stks and 1blk in a blowout semi win over Expressions. Will play the winner of Team Why Not- Bradley Beal Elite tomorrow morning on NBATV. Really hoping for BBE because they have a 6’11” kid going to Marquette named Sheek Pearson who plays HS ball about 10 mins from me and have seen a couple of times. He’s a modern long rim running big. Would love to see how Hines deals with that kind of player.

The Indy Heat 16U team has advanced to Sunday's Peach Jam Championship game with a 76-67 win over JL3.  They play for the championship tomorrow morning at 9:00 am against Florida Rebels.  In the first of 2 games today, Isaiah Hill was limited to a single point going 0-6 FG.  He did have 7r and 4b.  In the second game he scored 9p on 3-5 FG; 2-4 on 3s; 1-4 FT; 4r; 2b.

Will be a really good watch. Hines outweighs Pearson by 50lbs but Pearson’s really long and it will interesting to see if Hines can get looks off against him.

Indy Heat 16U are Peach Jam champions defeating the Florida Rebels 68-53.  Isaiah Hill only played 14 minutes scoring just 3 points; 2r;  1a;  1s;  3b.  Over the course of the AAU season, IMO '27 Jahari Miller was the MVP of the team.  Scored in double digits every game shooting 45% FG; 40% on 3s; 80% FT; 4.7r; 3.3a; 1.4s; .5b; 1.5t

In the final 3SSB event of the year, the Earn Your Stripes Invitational, the Indiana Elite defeated Wildcat Select 88-76 for the championship.  Anthony Thompson 35 pts. on 11-16 FG and 10 reb. for the Heat.  Tay Kinney 36 pts. on 11-24 FG and 12-12 FT in a losing effort.
