I wouldn't wish going to that dumpster fire on my worst enemy, let alone My King.

I don't see him pulling an Elway or an Eli because that doesn't seem to be his character, but no QB should ever want to go that God forsaken place.  BUT it is a huge paycheck and past history shows that you can have a possibility for a decent career once you leave, i.e. Sam Darnold.

That's what people said about Indiana football. The Detroit Lions were an NFL laughingstock for about 40 years until recently. Franchises change.

Yeah, but you can't change the owner of a franchise that easily which might be the biggest obstacle of the Jets.  Detroit found the correct combination of GM and Coach which makes a yuge difference.

^Fixed it for you^

And yes, the Detroit Lions and Indiana Hoosiers fixed it too. So can the J-E-T-S.

If I'm Fernando I've got no interest in hoping an owner dies/sells/stumbles bassackwards into a good GM and Head Coach hire.

If ever there would be an interesting destination for hyper-gracious, godly, overly-humble Fernando, the New York freakin' Jets would be it. At least Fernando talks fast like a NewYork/New Jersey guy.

LOL, I listen to too much Mad Dog in the morning with them complaining about the Jets to ever believe they can get it fixed in the next couple of years.  Outside of the Jets, the only other 2 teams that are sucking right now that might go for a QB in the top of the draft this Spring are New Orleans and Las Vegas.  Miami depends on what they do with the coach, but they owe Tua a ton.  Pittsburgh might be the best possible spot for him, but they won't be near the top seeing they are doing pretty good with Rodgers with help from Balt and Cincy sucking right now.  Who knows, maybe Aaron Glenn will figure it out in time to make changes to do better next year.  I just hope they find a better OC if they do pick Mendoza because that team looks lost right now.  Get the right OC, and they might be able to overcome the owner. Just don't let Johnson's sons pick the players due to their Maddon rating.  SMH

The Johnson family doesn’t deserve a kid like Mendoza as the face of their franchise. I don’t want him to have to take the Darnold career path.

As a Jets fan, I agree. I want success but that would doom him. Even the Browns at #2 would be a better spot.

Both places are Death Valley for QBs, and Cleveland has 2 rookie QBs right now.  The Browns have an awesome defense, but that offense needs something.
