5'  11" Amayah attended DeSoto HS in DeSoto, TX  and played AAU on the 3SSB circuit for Team Lex.  Earlier this month, she announced she would transfer to Faith Family Charter School in Dallas.   In the most recent ESPN HoopGurlz she was ranked #51.  There are no MaxPreps stats for her.

The Texas high school sports governing body has suspended the Oak Cliff (TX) Faith Family Academy GBB coaching staff for 2 years over recruiting violations involving 18 transfers (including Amari Byles, Amayah Garcia, and Joy Egbuna) and other infractions;
