Attends Raleigh Christian Academy in Raleigh, NC and plays 16U with Garner Road in the 3SSB, which is the same program Rakease Passmore plays for.  Unranked everywhere at this point. Apparently has had a big weekend at the Crossroads event in Indy.

Copeland is the brother of former Nebraska player Isaac Copeland, who averaged 12.9 points per game in 2017-18 and 14 points per game in 2018-19 for the Huskers.

There’s a link to the Copeland family and the IU staff.  Isaac transferred after three years at Georgetown to attend Nebraska, where he played for IU assistant coach Kenya Hunter, who was an assistant at both of those programs.

Apparently since last season, Copeland has transferred from Raleigh Christian Academy in Raleigh, NC to St.David's in Raleigh.

Team is currently 2-4 and Copeland's stats for 6 games.
