Eric Bossi  --  A smooth operator on offense who sees angles, plays through contact and explodes through holes in the defense, what makes Acuff so dangerous is that he can really shoot from deep as well. After Sunday morning’s explosion, he’s averaging 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists through 12 EYBL games. He’s also knocking home 38% of his threes and is only turning the ball over 1.4 times per game despite being tasked with a lot of ball handling.

Looking forward to finding some Cass Tech games. The highlight clips look a lot like Darius Garland.

Watching Acuff’s State Championship game from March right now. I have to guess he didn’t play travel ball last summer because the only way he’s not a highly, highly rated kid is lack of exposure. Seriously, any idiot sees it. Great frame, quick, strong, solid handle, great stroke, playing under control. This has been a pleasure to watch. Really looking forward to watching more.

Fwiw Cass Tech is pretty traditionally strong in football.

Must be a pretty decent sports school all around. Flashed a graphic at 1 point and their HC’s record in 7 seasons was something like 140-30.

“It’s a place I want to check out for sure. They just tell me to keep working and trying to make it feel like family. They don’t want to just talk about recruiting all the time. They want to build a relationship with me and be a family.”

Posting this not because a GT offer means anything significant, but because Marbury is actually a great comp for this kid. Love it when a kid sees their game clearly.
