Baseball Opener Vs. Auburn

Recommended Posts

Games all weekend are on SEC Network+ which can be streamed free with a subscription to cable.

IU down 4-2 after 3 due to ridiculous fielding. Ellis has a 2-run HR. However,  IU has gifted Auburn 4 on an error in the first and then an inability to realize they didn't have a force play at third on a ground ball to short which led to two free runs. Should be 2-1 Hoosiers. Both pitchers who have gone so far (Ben Siler, Gabe Levy) have filthy stuff but their defense has let them down big time.

Forgot we had a baseball team. They were good once.. seems like forever ago.

Every year before last they were good for about a decade. Can turn it around with better pitching which is a big unknown. Depends on how freshman and transfers do.

6-2. Auburn earned those 2 with a towering HR. Clearly not on the level of a College World Series squad like Auburn, but curious how team can do in Big Ten against like competition. Will totally depend on the pitching which I have no feel for today based on how the defense has played and the quality of the Tigers who are probably better than almost every squad we will see this year.

Really happy with all three pitchers. Multiple innings Seiler and Levy had to 5 outs.. that ran their pitch counts up.

Tightest zone I've seen in awhile. He was very consistent though, until real late.

I just meant keeping up with them this year. Softball team seems to be good. That freshman is clearly crazy good.

Rhonda Stanton seems to be a really good coach. They have a SO who is a stud too.
