Stuhoo Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Listened to Tamar Bates on the Assembly Call podcast today. A great, introspective session with Tamar. During the interview Tamar gushed about the new documentary on Netflix about the 2008 US Olympic team. The film is called “The Redeem Team.” I just watched the film—if you love basketball and lessons on putting egos to the side for a common goal, you’ll enjoy the heck out of it. It also provides incredible insight into what made Kobe Bryant great, and what made Kobe Bryant different. Highly recommended. ALASKA HOOSIER, hoosierfan6157 and bigrod 2 1 Quote
HoosierCoop Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I would totally agree. It was an intriguing watch. I knew we were in a cold spell, but I didn't know how bad it was. It also shed light on just how critical Kobe was. Stuhoo 1 Quote
bigrod Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I watched this a couple weeks ago - I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I almost didn't watch it because I was afraid Lebron was going to hog most of the screen time, but he didn't. Very good insight on the behind the scenes personalities that went into that team.
