Knocked down a barrage of triples shortly after halftime to break the game open. Hard to find 6’9” sophomores with his type of outside touch. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 A milestone event with Scott's committment to GA State. He was the first kid to receive an IU offer under then new head coach Mike Woodson and it had to be as a favor to Scott's dad Dennis Scott II who Woody would have known from his NBA days. lillurk and Demo 2 Quote

Georgia St sounds about right. Have thought about it a little and I wonder if the 1 benefit of the portal for mid-majors could be access to more promising but developmental high school bigs. A kid like Scott isn’t untalented and a few years ago he might have ended up at a high major as a redshirt candidate. Now that’s not happening because HM’s just go to the portal for a 4th or 5th yr kid. lillurk and thebigweave 2 Quote
