1. If teams win their conference and go to NCAA Tourney and IU beat them (ex: SIUE) does that help our seeding or irrelevant? 2. Am I the only one who doesn’t want IU doing good in big ten tourney so they can keep 10 seed unless they win it then could they get 7 seed? I don’t want them 8 or 9 at all.

Not really.  It just gives IU an extra win against the field however nothing that would move the needle enough for a seed line unless it is another high major team winning a high major conference.

I am not sure why you are speaking as if a 10 seed is locked down.  If they lose to Oregon they could still easily be an 11 or even 12 in the right situation.

I’m fine with an 11 as well but personally I think if they beat Oregon and Mich St. they get a 9 seed

Maybe.  I am more inclined to think that unless they go on a run and get the finals of the BTT they are probably looking at 10-12 as a seed.

They would definitely be a single digit seed and possibly wearing white if they beat an Oregon team on a neutral court that is projected as 4 seed and then beat a projected 2 seed on a neutral court.  That would be 6 Q1 wins with no losses in the Q2-Q4 with a top 25 SOS.  Those 2 wins would move the needle enough to jump a couple seed lines

After Friday 

they definitely cared about IUs wins against Michigan and Illinois a couple years ago.   Those games got IU in the field since after those 2 wins they were still in Dayton.   If they lost to Michigan they would of been out

Almost every bracketology had them as 1st or 2nd 10 seed and that was before facing Ohio State

They were still an 11 for most of the good ones before they beat Ohio st.  I think Delphi still has them in last 4 in even though they won today

Jerry Palm has them currently as a 10 and I thought he was one of the best current ones?

no.  He is even worse.  He finished 162 out of 174 or something close to that.
