HC Todd Yeagley tells me that with UCLA and Washington joining the Big Ten, the league has agreed to increase the number of conference matches from 8 to 10 for the 2024 season. Every Big Ten team will play each other once (5 Home, 5 Road).

Spring soccer scrimmage on today's calendar although it might be a tad cool.  Hoosiers scheduled to host Evansville at 1:00 today.

Final spring exhibition game our Hoosiers tied Notre Dame 1-1 thanks to a Luka Bezerra goal.  Number of regulars were banged up per Coach Yeagley and it was at best a makeshift lineup as Barger, Mihalic, Oduro & Sarver all sat out.  Hoosiers actually scored first but ND responded a few minutes later.

As the saying goes, we have some good news - see post immediately above -  and we have some not so good news.

From Jared Kelly - Virginia transfer goalkeeper and two-year starter Holden Brown suffered a season-ending knee injury and will undergo surgery soon. Brown was expected to push JT Harms for the starting GK job this fall. He has two year of eligibility remaining.
