IU Women's Soccer

Recommended Posts

Women move to 5-0-2 on the season with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals.  We fired off 20 shots; 11 on goal and limited Louisville to 5 total shots none of which were on goal.

Next up we host Hanover on Sunday at 3:00.  Then the following Sunday (17th) B1G season opens with IUWS hosting that team from the armpit of the nation; cesspool of the world, Rutger.

Paige Webber starts us off with a goal in 15'|

And as I'm typing this, Webber scores again off an assist from Anna Bennett in 20'|.  We've already taken 14 shots; 7 on goal and had 6corners.  Thus far, Hanover has yet to attempt a shot .

Webber's first goal.

6-0 is the final score and the women move to 6-0-2 on the season.  B1G season opens next Sunday with IUWS hosting that team from the armpit of the nation; cesspool of the world, Rutger.

Hanover's goalie will likely put herself in the transfer portal later today after being bombarded with 17 Hoosier shots on goal.  For the match we fired off 43 total shots; 17 on goal; 20 corners.  Hanover was limited to a single shot and no corners.  Total domination by the IU women.  Hopefully the play they've exhibited in the first 8 games carries into B1G play.
