I'm happy for Orleans. They've been very good for a long time.

I’m not..they took out my Eels lol seriously though that was a back and forth nail biter. Orléans reminded me a lot of Clay City…seemed like respectful, hard working kids. Their fan base was the same….I’m glad they were the team to beat CC instead of Hauser or Liberty Christian, I can say that…..wish the Eels could have held on but they still had a heck of a season and props to Orleans

I watched your 2nd half. Orleans gets a look at a longer 1-3-1 vs Brownstown in the regular season. I'm sure that helped them against you guys.

Hard to get past Barr-Reeve (02 grad) and Loogootee in southern Indiana. I’m glad Orleans was able to win it all. They are a good program in a hard sectional.

Yep. I was going to mention that as well.

Orleans has been a top 6-8 1A program for 25 years. No one knows it because of those two.. Borden some really good teams too.

I think southern Indiana has the best small school basketball in the state (2A and below) and it’s probably not close. I don’t remember playing Borden but see their name pop up time to time especially in the last couple years.

They won a state title 15 ish years ago.

It's a shame my Braves in 3A for success factor this year :(

I bet that paid off…man when CC got the and 1 I thought it was over….then Orléans tied it. I thought at worst OT but we pushed it and got poked from behind. Didn’t love the foul call with 3.2 seconds left but as they always say, don’t leave it up to the refs….Orleans deserved it though beating number 1 and 2….get this, and the main reason I was just so glad CC didn’t lose to Liberty Christian. After that game the Liberty Christian cheerleaders went into where our cheerleaders had there stuff and dumped Gatorade all over their letter jackets…..luckily it was all on camera and I hope LC has to pay every last penny

Southern Indiana basketball is definitely way different, especially with small schools.
