While it benefits us today I agree with you and wish the media would make a bigger deal of this and how hypocritical NCAA is in this regard.

Despite the run by UK, great fielding awareness to throw home after getting runner in a pickle between 1st and 2nd. To often I see teams get an extra run during the rundown because teams forget about lead guy.

Gave the run right back. The most important inning is the half inning after your team scores. It is essential to have a shut down inning after your team scores. It takes all the momentum out of the balloon

Zach Thompson is IUs kryptonite. A pitcher with a great breaking ball. We know IU doesn't handle the breaking ball all too well

Well considering we actually made tourney in baseball it can't be as soft since basketball team didn't even do that.

All of Uk's first 3 starters are pretty equal numbers wise so while they may have saved Thompson for us its not like it was a huge gamble.
