YES!

Cornerback Raheem Layne (Sebastian River, Fla.) said he committed to Indiana.

Layne, a former Minnesota verbal commit, chose the Hoosiers over eight other offers including finalists Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

"I have a great relationship with the staff," Layne said of Indiana. "I feel I can do really well in the Big Ten real fast. They have one of the nation's best Business programs."

Layne officially visited Indiana January 13.

Layne said a big reason for his decision was his relationship with Indiana cornerbacks coach Brandon Shelby.

"I felt he's like me," Layne said. "We have a great relationship."

The three-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 157 cornerback and the No. 216 prospect in Florida in the 2017 class by 247SportsComposite.

Layne is the 22nd verbal commit in the 2017 class for Indiana.
