IU Hoosier41

Indiana vs Louisville Game Thread

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure exactly when the students come back. Might not be until the 9th? Either way, I think IU can pull it off. It's must win in my book. Hope Crean and the players see it that way. I'm not as ready to burn it all down after this loss as most. Top ten team, best defense in the nation, extremely long at every position.....We didn't get blown off the court there....within 6 second half, had a legit chance to win up to the last five minutes....with all those mistakes? Critical mistakes and couldn't hit anything all game yet still in striking distance? Like I said earlier, I think a loss here means nothing, but shows if we clean it up, we will win. Tuesday will tell me all I need to know about this season. Must win.

Your a whole lot more optimistic than myself. Umm, was Hartman not on the bench today?

I to have noticed James improved effort on defense. He is moving his feet much better, in particular there was a late play against the Huskers in front of their bench where he had his hands up and feet moving and got called for s bogus foul. There is NO WAY we are a better team without him. We need to run more sets and screens for him to get his shot off. Someone earlier made a Eric Gordon comparison, not close EJ way bigger and stronger, overall much better player.

He didn't really compare the two. He said JBJ was the best scorer since Gordon. Which is true

Didn't post much on this game, as I watched the first half from Bru Burgers in downtown Indy, and listened to the 2nd half on the radio while at the Murat for Paw Patrol Live.  Had no desire to watch the tape when we got back to Terre Haute, but from what I'm gathering, it's the same old same old.  NO movement on offense.  Poor/no screens. Dribble, dribble, oh sh*t, shoot.  Getting beat on defense?  I just hope the correct team shows up to the Hall tonight.

We liked it, as did Claira.  Shoot, the Shrine is becoming an issue with these games.  I'll be at the new officer installation right by ISU tonight for the game.  At least they'll have beer!
