FWIW, 247 has him as the 9th rated ILB.

I don't know if the following is at all a valid comparison, but this link is to Scout's '17 ILB rankings.  McGinnis is a 3-star and Scout has 13 4 and 5 stars on the site and then a whole host of 3-stars.

Juco life is tough. Glad we got McGinnis. He sounds battle tested in life and after living with juco facilities, IU's will be a welcome addition. Hopefully he makes a quick transition to B1G level play.

How many more defensive commits are we looking to take? We are now at 11 of 17.
