  1. I was excited about the team heading into the season but if someone had told me we had 4 turnovers and no take aways against Maryland, no way I would have thought we won. If they told me we not only won, but won by 2 touchdowns I would've thought they were lying. This team has been even better than I expected. Without those turnovers I agree with CCC and think that it would've been an even larger blowout.
  2. Maybe, just maybe, Nebraska is overrated. What a shocker.
  3. The polls have the men at #4 and women at #6. https://swimswam.com/virginia-women-cal-men-hold-1-spot-in-pre-season-cscaa-polls/ Swimswam is much higher on IU men than the polls. They have IU at #1. https://swimswam.com/2024-25-ncaa-mens-power-rankings-september-edition/ For the women, they agree with the polls and have them at #6. They adjusted the rankings since they started doing the previews so they moved IU up from 7. https://swimswam.com/2024-25-ncaa-womens-power-rankings-september-edition/
  4. /shrug Missed on another long recruitment. Nothing new.
  5. Malik at the end... lol
  6. NGW showed us (unintentionally) that looking at social media follows isn't a good predictor of the school which will be selected.
  7. Ah, so he's just announcing his intention to transfer and isn't actually entering the portal now.
  8. Since it's not within the transfer window, wouldn't those players have to sit out next year without a waiver? I thought that was implemented to prevent this.
  9. That will only happen if the NCAA is given an antitrust exemption or, more likely, the players unionize and make a CBA with them.
  10. I haven't seen him play but my understanding is that he's an undersized PF but has shown enough that it's thought he could develop into a SF.
  11. When they start beating good teams more people will start doing to games and stay longer.
  12. I'm pretty sure much more than that was spent.
  13. Swimswam has the women at #7 in the preseason previews. https://swimswam.com/2025-college-swimming-previews-new-era-of-breaststrokers-bolster-7-indiana-women/ These rankings are done with the NCAA in mind where top talent matters more than depth, but looking at the rankings at the end, the B1G should be a barn burner (again). #7 IU #8 USC #T-9 OSU #12 Michigan
  14. Read the first line and thought, "Oh well." Kept reading and that was a pleasant surprise.
  15. That was basically my first thought too when I saw the initial post.
  16. I hope he doesn't have Recker's attitude.
  17. UCLA had a bye week to get ready for this game.
  18. Leave it to the Boilermakers to make ND look like a good team.
  19. Bless your heart.
  20. If I was a great HS QB from Georgia and my choices were between IU and USC, I'd pick USC. I hope Lewis doesn't agree with me and ends up at IU, but if he goes to USC I can't blame him. I will say that since we're having this conversation, a lot of perception about IU has changed in a short amount of time. Just being named as having a legitimate chance to flip him from USC is huge. I hope CCC can capitalize on it. I think he can.
  21. Swimswam has the men's incoming class for this year ranked #2. It's not at all surprising that it's that high since they include the transfers. They were beat out for #1 by Texas, and it isn't surprising that they also have a strong class since they're now coached by Bowman. https://swimswam.com/ranking-the-2024-mens-recruiting-classes-1-4/
  22. That writer used a lot of words to basically just list the schools recruiting him.
