  1. Even when we were winning, I wasn't buying what Allen was selling. No fans at the games and the schedule was even weaker than this year but mainly it was that IU still made tons o mistakes so didn't seem all that well coached.
  2. This new contract is great for many reasons. It keeps C^3 at IU for the foreseeable future. The guy has shown he's a winner. It shows IU is finally serious about football. This helps with: recruiting hiring assistant coaches when the current ones inevitably leave to become HC themselves hiring C^3's replacement when the time comes this, plus winning, will further change the perception about IU football
  3. Nah, it was pretty boring really. Indeed. C^3 getting it done in recruiting.
  4. Living in Phoenix, I don't even count them as Mexican food. Mexican inspired, maybe. If I want Mexican fast food, there are a bunch of better places around here.
  5. The schedule looked much tougher last year than it turned out to be. Michigan and Washington were both top 5/10 teams all season and played for the national championship. Then both got new coaches. A road game at UCLA, a team which won 7 games plus their bowl game last year. (They are playing better and may end up in a bowl game.) A Nebraska team many thought would be improved. They are, just not as much as it initially appeared. Road game at OSU. This one still holds up as a tough game. So I can see why there was that thought that the schedule would be much tougher this year than it turned out to be. I personally had (still don't) no problem dropping the UL game for a sure win. I've said for a long time that if IU has 3 non-con wins, they just need 3 B1G wins to get to a bowl game.
  6. The angry person I'm referring to is a Woodson defender.
  7. The schedule will look better by then. OSU will give it a big bump. The UCLA win is starting to look better.
  8. Quite the angry individual.
  9. I think it is expected that he will have a chance to compete for the starting QB position.
  10. To be fair, if they were in a conference they would probably lose a few games and not win the conference championship anyways. This way makes raking up wins to get into the CFP in the first place more likely.
  11. Yeah, he's refusing to believe IU is for real this year. Blinded by the brand bias. I doubt he would have done better against IU this year than they did. The defense and offense are both better for IU than when was in college. It's not as though they won because of him. From his wikipedia page: After Speight was sidelined with an unspecified shoulder injury, O'Korn started and led the team to a 20–10 victory over Indiana on November 19. O'Korn posted 7 completions in 16 attempts for a total of 59 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. The performance represented the lowest passing yardage total for Michigan since John Navarre posted 58 in a November 17, 2001, victory for the 2001 Wolverines against Wisconsin.[19][20]
  12. Have you personally seen someone get fired for refusing to get documents from the printer? Sounds like a ****** company to work for, if so.
  13. AH admit he is in the wrong and doesn't know something? Him admit that someone else isn't an idiot? lol, that'll never happen. I will say that in a couple of my workplaces bosses have made decisions that people didn't think were a good idea. Sometimes people would talk about that, form a small group and go talk to the boss about it with why they thought it wasn't a good idea and ways things could be changed for the better. Sometimes the boss was persuaded, sometimes not. No one got fired over it. This is what it sounds like Howard may have been doing. Of course, I may have just had better bosses than Woodson.
  14. More money wouldn't have helped Miller be better. He was terrible. Worse than Woodson. Worse at coaching the team, worse at evaluating talent.
  15. So much for the supposed depth of this team.
  16. I had an uncle who was a huge IU fan pass away unexpectedly in the summer. I wish he could have seen this.10-0 almost guaranteed to go to the CFP at this point. Amazing.
  17. I did too, but a close win is good for the team. It shows heart and grit.
  18. What? He repeatedly threw players under the bus last season.
  19. Other confirmation without really adding info: https://www.si.com/college/indiana/basketball/sources-indiana-parts-ways-with-new-recruiting-operations-assistant-adam-howard-01jc70xnnvr4 https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2024/11/08/iu-basketball-fires-adam-howard-assistant-director-recruiting-operations-indiana-staff-mike-woodson/76138946007/
  20. Is he the scapegoat for missing on Brandon Mulligan?
  21. Yes, Miller's 2nd season at IU was his (redshirt) freshman year.
  22. lol, they were doing a decent job of pointing out that IU was good this year and Michigan isn't until one guy said he thinks the fans will rush the field and tear down the goal posts if IU wins. They are definitely biased by IU's past.
