It might be by the admin - the people in control. There's absolutely no trust in the administration to do what needs to be done. Rooting for IU to lose/not make the tourney is heartbreaking but if there's even a .00001% chance of him staying with a tourney birth, I can't get excited after wins. Just can't.

IU isn't the Indiana school that's on their mind....feel like OSU basketball never draws big crowds anyway but I imagine the campus is buzzing right about now

Without a shred of doubt he's one of the best basketball coaches in the country. I just do not see the IU admin, with a hard-nosed female President, take that chance.

I'm cool with Beard and his baggage as well. That's just where I am at this point in my life and my IU fandom. I want to win. Tired of not getting past the Sweet 16. I just feel like they'll be a divide in the fanbase. Plenty will oppose that hire. That alone is why I don't think IU will even think about it. The moral compass in the SEC is just different than the Big Ten and certainly IU. He fits in down there. Not sure he does here. That said - the fans will rally behind a winner.

I know Brad is most people's target here (mine too) but as a Bulls fan, I fully endorse Billy Donovan leaving for IU. The NBA just isn't for him. IIRC, UK fans wanted him bad. I wouldn't hate it.

I started looking up players from Sampson's team that Crean let go yesterday after the Eli Holman pot throwing saga was brought up here just to see what those guys are doing (Eli is still playing, BTW, in Iran) and saw that too. Just horrible. Sad news for the Etherington family yesterday as well.

Regardless of who the coach is that game, make it a white or red out and be loud. Show Dusty where he could be coaching next year. Booing the team and calling for Woody to be gone (which is the more likely thing to happen, unfortunately) of course will be a bad look. Dusty certainly wont be telling himself "Man - I want to coach here"
