The man has been stealing money from organizations his entire coaching career. He never should have been considered, let alone hired. Had he not played at IU, Woody would be unemployed. Bad hire that should have been cut loose after last season. Trying not to overreact but we paid millions for this?

If you want to be a bit adventerous, the apls - swiss, italian, french - all gorgeous. Was just in the Swiss alps this winter to ski but they're awesome in the summer too. Lots of gorgeous small towns easily accessible by train. Vienna is also one of my favorite cities in the world. Not a ton to do with kids, though. Was also in Helsinki a couple weeks ago - great little town.

Transfer portal season is looking pretty good. Have to give Woodson credit where due. The issue is (and I may be totally wrong since the portal is still a relatively new thing) this isn't a sustainable way to run a program, right? You can't just unload and reload every year. Maybe I'm wrong and this is just the way of college basketball nowadays combined with NIL. Sad, but it is what it is right now.

While I wasn't crazy about Dusty, this is just one more thing to make me feel like we've taken another step in the wrong direction by doing nothing and sticking with someone we know isn't the answer. Everyone else is improving and we're.....well....not. He'll recruit Indiana, have to imagine UM will given him the cash to compete NIL-wise and now we have to play against him in conference. This should have been part of Dolson's consideration - not letting a coach like this enter the B1G unless if it's at IU. Michigan would have gotten a good one no matter what but this is just a kick in the nuts.

I never wanted to admit we aren't a serious program to myself but there's no other conclusion. Get ready for more losses to Penn State and freaking Nebraska

This infuriates me. Why, just why, can't we have an administration with some damn balls? Mike Woodson never deserved this job. I don't care what Archie Miller was given or what the optics are if we fire him now. Archie at least coached in the college arena with some success. All the coaches we could get are going to go elsewhere leaving IU even further behind. All in the name of optics. I'd argue the optics are worse if we keep Mike Woodson. Why can the admin not see this? If the inbreds in Lexington can figure it out, we can too.

Winning solves everything in sports. Crean got 9 years and was fired due to his inability to make in-game adjustments and a mediocre record in the NCAA tournament. Archie got 4 years and was fired for the same reason Woody will eventually get canned - program trajectory trending down. Coaches are fired more much less these days but I can't say I disagree with Dusty's assessment of us if this is true. The fans can be brutal. That's because we care and are tired of mediocrity. OSU is a football school first and always will be. The noise will never get loud for the bball coach bc fans over there just don't really care. I guess that's nice for the coach but also depressing. Remove $$$ from the equation and I'd say if he had a choice between IU, OSU, and Louisville - OSU should be last on that list.
