I hear you and love these conversations. Buzz has been coaching in a big boy conference since 2008 - almost 20 years - and, while he's had some good years/teams - he hasn't proven that he's a guy that will take us where we all want to go on a consistent basis - which is key for me - I don't want a year every 5 or 6 where we're good. I want a consistent winner. He screams Tom Crean 2.0 to me. Decent coach, high energy, fans will fall in love with him, but in the end - the results won't be good enough. Not a bad backup option, I agree.

I agree but what I keep reading (just random posters on Trilly) is that Brad may not want to do the whole recruiting thing. A GM would help with that. IMO - Brad absolutely would need to be a part of recruiting.

The piece of info that gives me hope is Scott is looking at adding a GM. That is something that we probably need anyway with NIL and the portal but it sounds like a request from say....an NBA guy.

Maybe Brad is providing Scott with guidance on candidates, which might be why many insiders believe we’re talking with him—just not in the capacity they were hoping for?

Nothing really. All he's basically said is if it's an NBA guy - he probably won't hear anything. Crazy no one knows who he is still.
