I said the admin. The morons who not only pushed and got Mike freaking Woodson hired but, by all accounts, kept him here bc Archie got four years. There's no other word for than other than incompetence. You're right - Scott has earned trust.

What? Like winning? Yes, our admin has proven to avoid winning coaches. We can't sit here and say for a fact (like some are saying right now) that they passed on Beard prior to the arrest bc they knew he was an alcoholic. Why would Texas have hired him?

The evidence points to the opposite.

If Beard is ever at IU, it's because Dolson did his due diligence, spoke to the right people, and ultimately felt confident in offering him the job. Winning changes everything. If he's leading us to Final Fours and raising banners, his past will no longer be the focus—that's the reality.

We can keep debating Chris Beard all we want, but here are the facts: No one truly knows what happened except for Beard and his ex-fiancée. The photos were disturbing, no doubt, but anything beyond that is speculation. I’m not willing to label someone a wife-beater without 1) knowing him personally and 2) having all the facts in front of me. Another university hired him. Yes, the SEC’s moral compass is questionable at best, but if this situation were as open-and-shut as some on here claim, Beard wouldn’t just be out of a job—he’d be in prison. The fact that he’s coaching in a Power 4 conference suggests there’s more to the story. It isn't as simple as "Ole Miss is a bunch of scumbags that are looking the other way." Finally, I actually trust Scott Dolson this time. I don’t have much faith in the rest of our administration, but based on what insiders have shared, it seems like Scott has always had a solid plan—he’s just been limited in what he could do. If IU were to hire Beard, that would tell me Dolson did his due diligence, spoke to the right people, and still felt comfortable moving forward. That’s good enough for me.

The Woody era is almost over. But my god is he an insecure little baby. Just leave with your head held high. You failed - admit it, take it like a man and move on. Why keep this up? No one buys any of this garbage. I say if he wins tomorrow, he's done. He just wants the fans to cheer him off the floor chanting his name perhaps even being carried off by his players. Brad Stevens is not going to be IU's coach. Tell yourself that over and over and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. I still have no confidence in the admin and all the loopholes Scott Dolson has to jump through to do his job. They've proven to be incompetent beyond belief. Scott nailed it with Cignetti. If he doesn't have full reign to get his guy, might be time to find a new team to root for,
