  1. I just threw up in my mouth a little...
  2. Talk about a lose-lose proposition...
  3. Enhancements added for your reading pleasure.
  4. They rarely do... right up until the day they leave...
  5. By then, the I-69 extension should just about be breaking ground!
  6. So, you're saying Karl Malone will know before the rest of us? *mind blown*
  7. You, of all people, should know better … [emoji15]🤦‍♂️
  8. So if the Manson gang had only killed Sharon Tate and not the LaBianca family, he'd be a good choice to marry your daughter? Alford's record is as inconsistent throughout his career as Crean's was. His inconsistent record plus the character issues make him a SOLID NO in my book. I'm still all-in on Donovan... I could live with Archie, Bennett, Holtmann or White... But I don't get a say in who the new coach is, so, there's that, too.
  9. Mack started at Evansville but transferred to Xavier for the last 2 years of his playing career.
  10. TL;DR I like turtles... and Donovan. Archie would work here, and Bennett is growing on me.
  11. Rumors circulating that OG is "leaning" to enter the draft... not really "breaking news", and most likely, not directly related to Crean's firing... but facts is facts.
  12. *BOOM* Mind blown.
  13. Removing all impossibilities... my list: 1.Donovan 2. (TIE) Archie 2. (TIE) Bennett 4. Holtmann 5. White
  14. This season was so bad that some "fans" would turn to Steve Alford to return the program to its glory days. #bwahahahaha
  15. Wait... I thought the "executive search firm" was hired to dot the 'i's and cross the 't's ... Rabjohns is saying they are "reaching out to coaches to gauge the interest level of those coaches" in the Indiana job. So, who's lying?
  16. No one can hold a grudge like Bob Knight: Bob Knight: “I hope they’re all dead." Dan Patrick: "Some of them are …" Bob Knight: “Well, I hope the rest of them go.”
  17. Pierce was his stud (no pun intended) and his team would tank without him. Agree to disagree.
  18. IF that were truly the case, why would he turn on the victim? Why would he attempt to get her to back down/drop the charges? Clearly he was trying to keep his star player on the team and out of jail... irrespective of the facts of the case... he belongs at UCLA with their legacy of thumbing their noses at the NCAA and the judicial system. Wooden looked the other way when Sam Gilbert was doing his deeds... and Alford is no better. #NeverAlford
  19. Perhaps the court of popular opinion. Again, there's no excuse... while Alford cannot change the narrative at this point, he has yet to even admit that he totally screwed the pooch.
  20. Well, you certainly cannot argue the point.
  21. What could have changed things in (Hoosier fan's) minds? Crean getting his team ready to play. Teaching them how to play against that Syracuse zone - teaching them to play against ANY zone. But this is an academic exercise, at best. Crean is gone, and hopefully this lack of preparedness will not affect the Hoosier basketball team ever again. Sure, we will lose games - even get blown out from time to time by more talented teams, but there is NO excuse for an Indiana basketball team to ever be unprepared for any match up. That can never happen again, no matter who the coach is or who the players are. Being unprepared is laziness on both the coaching staff and the players part, and cannot be tolerated.
  22. As recently as 2013 at UCLA Alford still maintains that he was just doing what the administration and lawyers told him to do. BS. He lied then and he was still trying to duck any blame as recently as 2013... http://www.ocregister.com/articles/alford-502628-pierce-iowa.html
