Rojo maybe? With Blackmon out though teams can focus on shutting him down and then we're screwed. I'm worried we'll see a Newkirk, Rojo, McRoberts, Morgan, TB starting lineup with Green and Cujo getting about the same minutes they've been getting. The two of them should split Jbj's ~30 mpg but who knows what Crean will actually do with them.

Crean wasn't getting it done when we had our full team. We were playing like a borderline tournament team before OG went down. Hopefully Glass doesn't let him slide with that excuse this time.

This came outta left field. I wish we got a little more info than "lower leg" and "out indefinitely." Whatever could go wrong this season has.

Fred Glass accepts mediocre basketball

I thought he had turned a corner last year as well. He seemed to be making adjustments better than before and improving as a coach. Then he went right back to the same old Crean this year. At this point I don't think he's ever going to change. -

It's not my money so I see 0 cons to a buyout lol. That tweet is a classic though.

Especially since we're a football school. Seriously though I'm glad things are looking good for iufb because nothing about iubb excites me this year. -
He's the best player on the team so after he takes 3 shots and scores 4 points in a game we lose by 30 he's going to get criticized. I think a reason for some of the "hate" he gets is that we had such high expectations for him coming in and he just hasn't lived up to them. What he does for us, while great at times, gets overlooked because we were expecting more.

I think that the tickets will continue to be sold. However, if we continue down this path then I think we'll keep seeing plenty of games with thousands of empty seats come tip-off time like we have the past few years. It depends on the athletic department and if they care that the seats are empty if they still get the money from them. -
At least this team is made up of seemingly great kids. That Vonleh team had some guys I didn't really enjoy having to cheer for.
-
Yikes.. You had to experience all three terrible situations. I've had it pretty good in comparison to that lol.

Was that when college gameday came to town? I'm still salty I missed out on that 2012/2013 team by a year.

The UNC game was awesome. This season has sucked but I'm glad I got to experience Assembly Hall at its best.

Elite programs make elite moves. The ball's in your court now, Fred Glass. Show us what you've got.

Crean running onto the court and screaming at Green like a madman for trying to throw an oop to McSwain in the closing seconds of the Rutgers game.

Fred Glass accepts mediocre basketball

He has the chance now to show that he doesn't accept mediocre basketball. He's had 9 years to see what Crean can do as a coach so we'll see what he does after this season. Crean shouldn't be able to use OG's injury as a crutch for this season. We were trending downward before it happened and hopefully Glass takes that into consideration. Crean's good seasons aren't good enough and his bad seasons are too bad for a school like Indiana. -
Penn State, Michigan and Northwestern at home should be wins, maybe Purdue as well. Northwestern, Iowa and Ohio State are all winnable on the road. The problem is that those games are all just as loseable too. There's no way to know which IU team will show up and I don't think that fact is lost on Fred Glass. Purdue and Wisconsin on the road could get ugly. I'm worried Swanigan will hang a 20/20 game on TB.

We don't even have to tank. This team just isn't good enough to win very many more games this year. I don't think the team is mentally tough enough to bounce back from a 30 point blowout. We don't have a leader out there.

Mediocre might be putting it nicely. -
Tomorrow happens to be Friday and we know how much IU likes their Friday afternoon press releases.. Maybe Glass sneaks a Tom Crean termination into one.
