  1. His name is Max Hoetzel and that's all you need to know.
  2. The best big ten teams seem to usually have dominant post players. I'm glad that Archie seems to be going after some of them. I hope that he shows this year with De'ron that he knows how to use them. Watching us either not have any or grossly misuse them the last several years drove me crazy.
  3. They're not going to get the death penalty, too much money involved.
  4. So basically they're gonna come out of this just fine. There's no reason to follow the rules. Don't rat yourself out and you'll be okay.
  5. Unfortunately I'm not surprised by OG's drop. He was mostly potential in the first place and then add in the ACL tear and I can see why execs aren't certain on him.
  6. I mean, his last name is Cockburn. He would probably laugh, I'm sure he's used to the jokes by now.
  7. That's pretty much how I feel about him too. He's going to be a 5th year senior and he still has all these problems. He has the frame and arm strength to be a good quarterback, but that's about it. Unless there's a huge drop off between him and the rest of the QB's I would rather start a young guy like Ramsey and look toward the future.
  8. Lol very true. He'll throw catchable passes but you never know which team they're catchable for. Hopefully the new staff can help him out, we can't have all the multi-pick games we had last year. I'm hoping for better offensive playcalling. It seemed like last year we would run the same run plays over and over again even when they weren't working. I remember way too many "short gain up the middle, short gain up the middle, 3rd and long" situations. Lagow has a big arm but he gives the ball away way too much. If that happens again this year the coaches can't be so hesitant to make a change.
  9. It's not going to matter if we don't have a quarterback that can get the ball to them /: I'm hoping either Lagow improves a lot or the staff isn't afraid to go with someone else.
  10. Yeah that one was weird to me, but I like that Lavar Ball was included in the reasoning.
  11. Sorry Purdue, Butler, and Notre Dame, but you all gotta stay at the kids' table. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/19614940/the-best-college-basketball-job-every-state http://es.pn/2sfYwHy
  12. I don't think schools themselves should pay players, but I have a big problem with situations like this. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/19626695/ucf-kicker-donald-de-la-haye-asked-stop-making-money-youtube-videos http://es.pn/2skR9ip
  13. It sucks, but I can't fault the kid for that.
  14. I agree. It's the NBA finals and then you don't play again until November. Give everything you have left and make em carry you off the court after the game if they have to. 33.6/12/10/1.4/1 on 56.4% shooting for the series. It's a shame he couldn't get another ring out of it, but Golden State was too good. I still think Durant is weak for joining up with them, but that's another story. There's no denying how incredible they were. If Lue can't get the job done I heard there's a head coach on the market that really loves athletic wings...
  15. 6'8 245 pounds. Big body, really athletic. It might not have made any difference at all but man it was at least worth a shot. Give him a few minutes on Durant so LeBron can guard Green, see what happens. What they were doing wasn't working but Lue refused to make any adjustments.
  16. Lue is an average coach at best, imo. It's doubtful but I hope the Cavs consider getting rid of him. There were a number of times this series that I was shaking my head at his decisions. I thought he should've thrown Derrick Williams in for a few minutes to see what he could do guarding Durant. He couldn't have been much worse than the corpse of Richard Jefferson. I'd love to see LeBron coached by Popovich. Someone who knows what he's doing and someone LeBron would actually listen to.
  17. Because he's in his 14th season with 50,000+ minutes on his legs. Trust me man, I would love to see him try what you're suggesting, but if he hasn't changed at this point he probably never will. If he thinks his approach is the best way I guess I won't second guess him.
  18. That annoys me too. Kyrie is a great player but sometimes he's too sloppy and makes bad decisions because he wants to dance on guys. LeBron finally put up 30 shots but it should've happened from the start of the series.
  19. Unfortunately that was the Cavs best chance of winning. LeBron and Kyrie both needed to put up 35-40 ppg. Besides game 4 only one of Love/Kyrie showed up each night.
  20. The Cavs need to get someone that can fill the void when LeBron rests. Right now he sits out for 30 seconds and everything goes to crap. But yeah driving play after play, taking contact, all of that will wear ya out. He can't do that for all 46 minutes if he wants to have any energy left at the end.
  21. LeBron averaged a 33.6 point triple double on 56.4% shooting, the first triple double average in NBA history against the best team in NBA history, but I'm sure I'll hear in the media the rest of the week how it's his fault they lost.
  22. Where was this Pipe the first few games?! He's been phenomenal.
  23. I wish he would play through the post more often. He doesn't have the athleticism to just blow by anyone on the perimeter like he used to but he's so big that it's hard to guard him in the paint. Players collapse on him and then he can kick it out for a 3. Heck, give me Ty Lue's job lol.
  24. I've said that during basically every game I've watched of him. Way too unselfish.
