I don't think it will take anywhere near five years. Archie has a very solid foundational class this year. With Race/Phinisee/Hunter/Anderson/Forrester we have five guys who should be solid 3-4 year players. We also have the guys on the team this year who will be back next year. We are in on several 5 stars in the 2019 class. I would bet that we get two 5 stars in that class. Next year we should make the tournament, and the year after that we should be a Big 10 and national contender.

The best thing today was Archie's answer to the question about Duke. Everything else sucked but it was really refreshing to hear. Once he gets things rolling I firmly believe that we will be a top program again. It's just a matter of patience waiting for that to happen.

Even without Romeo I'm still really excited about the class coming in. Phinisee and Anderson fill huge holes at point guard and 3 point shooting. I'm high on Hunter too as a big guard. We also will have Race and Moore with a year in the system under their belts. I don't expect Forrester to contribute much next year but that could always change.

I still feel good about the direction we're going. Newkirk and Johnson are two big issues on this team and they won't be here next year. I don't have high expectations for this season so I just sit back and enjoy watching my favorite team. Help is on the way.

Not really. He came into the game averaging 16/9 and had 13/7 today.

It could be worse after our awful start. Duke went up 10 on us early in the second half and we came back and took the lead. The first four minutes after halftime will determine the game imo.

I have no problem with McRoberts getting minutes. Sure he's technically a "walk-on", but he's a D1 caliber player. He's just not on scholarship here.

McRoberts is a smart player, plus they don't play the same position. Hartman coming back is eating up a lot of Smith's minutes.

Yeah, I don't like that they get so much time, but we don't have anyone else we can put in. We're stuck with them this year for better and worse.

He would've had a shot about a decade ago. Not now though, imo. He's the size of a 4 in the NBA and he doesn't have the athleticism to hang with them. He will be a very good college basketball player though and I selfishly hope he is here four years.

Archie could pull a Marshawn Lynch with the media for all I care as long as he's delivering on the court.

I'm thinking that tweet may be fake news. The account only has a few tweets and they're all about Romeo. THe same account just posted a "deleted tweet" from Romeo saying that he is committing tomorrow.

He could always be lying. For all we know he actually wasn't watching the IU game tonight. It's not likely, but only the Langfords really know what's going on.
