    Man if he breaks Damon Bailey's record then I'll have a meltdown if he goes anywhere other than IU. Seriously, could you imagine the Indiana all-time leading scorer going to Vanderbilt? I would just stop following sports altogether and become a monk or something.

    Exactly. I was honestly very worried before the game that our students were going to start a Larry Nasser chant or something to that effect. So glad we avoided that, it wouldn't have been a good look.

    A school like Colorado would absolutely take a chance on that. Low risk/high reward for a program like that.

    I'm glad it looks like there are plenty of IU fans down that way in Jennings county. Every time I'm down that way, which is rare, I see far too much UK stuff.

    Hmm so I guess this is good news? I'd put our chances at about 5% but that's ok, tough job to land an out of state top 5 player.

    Obviously getting ahead of myself but what the heck, that's what message boards are for. If Romeo were to come to IU, there would probably be no nights with empty balconies or no-show students, based on the number of people show up to NA games now. He would create a Cody-like buzz around the program that's been missing for a while.

    The thing I just realized about Phinisee is how much he already cares about IU. He clearly gives a damn, evidenced by how many times he's been to Assembly Hall this year. He would have played yesterday if given the chance. That's going to matter big time.

    Wow I didn't realize all those guys are seniors. I feel like Purdue always has a guy who I can't wait to leave. First it was Hummel, then Hammons, then Swanigan, now it's Haas. But yeah they'll take a pretty big step back next year, Painter hasn't recruited well enough at all to reload.
