  1. @LamarCheeks you've been doing a great job as a mostly solo artist. There's a rumor on Facebook Lady Gaga would like to do a duet with you. Your efforts in keeping the women's game threads updated during the games is most appreciated. Thank you. Now with 2 in a row under their belts including a road win hopefully their confidence has taken a jump and they'll really lay it on the Toiletmakers Sunday afternoon.
  2. Can't dwell on what might have been. Winnable game on Saturday and we can't let it slip through our fingers. Badgers (16-6) (8-3) have played 14 of their 22 games on their own court. They average 83 ppg with a +8 margin shooting 45% on FG and 35% on 3s. We average 81 ppg and 47% and 35% in comparison. Defensively the Badgers hold opponents to 44% and 33% shooting. Our defense holds opponents to 41% and 31%. Badgers average 37 rpg with a +3 margin; we average 35 rpg. Wisky average 16 assists/gm. vs just 10 turnovers. 3 players average double figures led by Nick Boyd at 20.0 ppg.; John Blackwell 18.8 and Nolan Winter 13.8. On any significant volume Braeden Carrington at 42% and Blackwell at 38% are their best 3-point shooters. Winter is their best rebounder at 8.7/gm. Nick Boyd leads the team in assists and has a 2.0 assist/turnover ratio. Radio Live Stats
  3. #4 was total fabrication meant purely as poking fun at the whole issue of requiring shirt tails be tucked in.
  4. Michael Niziolek @michaelniziolek Source confirms that Indiana football is finalizing a deal with Tino Sunseri to come back as teams quarterbacks coach
  5. Inside The Hall says Conerway is questionable for tonight's game.
  6. I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do about the PUke trolls.
  7. More like the Tennessee Waltz.
  8. Upcoming College Football Playoff dates for the quarterfinals and semi-finals the next two years. This includes a near two-week break between the quarterfinals and semi-finals the next two years.
  9. Paywalled recruiting update on On3. Obviously a number of schools are mentioned but she's quoted "...I’m really close with the coaching staff over there too, like from the assistant coaches all the way to the head coaches. I have group chats with them." She's been on campus but it was a group visit with her entire team. Long way to go with this recruitment.
  10. Not at all related to the USC game but I know lots of people will see it. Alec Lasley - Indiana will honor the 1975-76 national championship team at halftime of next Monday's game vs Oregon. Members include Quinn Buckner, Scott May, Kent Benson, Bobby Wilkerson, Jim Crews, Scott Eells, James Roberson, Tom Abernethy, Mitchell Radford - honoring Wayne Radford.
  11. Paywalled story on On3 following Gardner's UV. I had previously seen Feb. 5, as a possible return to action date for him but in this story he indicated to Kyler Staley it would be around the start of sectionals - first week of March. He says the right things but don't they all? DDV's guards have freedom on the court. DDV is cool and laid back. Likes that DDV said he wants to play faster as the years move on. Good relationship with Drew Adams; still working on the relationship thingy with DDV and the other coaches.

  13. Full story paywalled on Indy Star Pat Knight has resigned as the men's basketball coach at Marian, a decision he says he made after "administration" told him to fire an employee. "I quit today. They wanted me to fire a staff member, and I didn't want to," Knight told IndyStar Monday evening. "When the administration starts trying to tell you what to do, nah, I've been there before."
  14. Number of our women's offers have several of their late season games being broadcast over the NFHS network. Tonight the Hoover Vacs defeated the Homewood Patriots 75-23 and even though it was 41-12 at the half and became a 35 point lead early in the 3rd, because it's Alabama, we didn't start a running clock until the 4th Q at which time it was 60-15. I scored her with 12p, 24, 7a, 2s, 1b, 2t. She's just a freshman so who knows if anything ever materializes in her recruitment. There are no cumulative game stats for her on MaxPreps. I have stats for a total of 10 games from various sources: 14.1p, 2.6r, 5.5a, 4.6s, .2b, 1.4t. IMO, she should take more shots than she does but at this point she seems to have a pass first mindset. Her turnovers are typically when she tries to throw a cross court pass or thread the needle to a player at the rim. The team plays very good defense and applies a very effective full court press. On an unrelated note, of tonight's officiating crew, 2 of the men should have skipped the extra orders of hush puppies at Catfish Cabin.
  15. Talia Goodman - Will this cause friction between Mendoza and Curt Cignetti (who has made his love for Chipotle abundantly clear)?
  16. McDonald’s All-American Boys Roster Breakdown by Shoe Circuit Nike EYBL: 13 adidas 3SSB: 9 PUMA PRO16: 1 UAA: 1 UAA has always been low man on the totem pole and not likely to change with Puma and New Balance starting their own leagues.
  17. I keep forgetting to check on Jenkins stats as he's our only offer playing in OTE. 17 games: 18.7p, 8.0r, 2.4a, .5s, .6b 44% FG, 20.8% on 3s, 70.9% FT
  18. From Inside The Hall =- Indiana women’s basketball incoming freshman Addy Nyemchek has been named to the 2026 McDonald’s All-American game. She becomes the program’s first-ever signed player out of high school to play in the prestigious high school game.
