  1. None of these former players that have coached in the NBA have had much real success in coaching and I'm pretty sure Glass talked about candidates who've had success. They will all get a shot at an interview but if we would've been better off with Crean over Wittman, Smart, or Mike Woodson.
  2. Glass won back my support with that press conference. I enjoyed hearing him say that money won't be an issue in getting who they want. I also like that he plans to reach out to High school and AAU coaches in Indiana and the Midwest. That's the only way we will be consistent is to continually be in the running for top talent in the area. Don't have to lock down the state but we need to be pulling from the best talent every year in recruiting. Whoever we get I believe Glass will have done his homework and will get us the best coach available.
  3. Over on 247 there are of course some interesting theories. Someone thought that maybe the replacement is already lined up, hence no search committee...seems logical. I guess we will see in the upcoming weeks
  4. At this point the buyout doesn't really seem to be an issue because as soon as he gets any sort of other job (coaching, commentary, etc) the amount IU has to pay him goes down
  5. I sat behind the Bellarmine bench when they played at Assembly Hall this year and after that it's a definite NO
  6. Allen only has five years of coaching experience? Everything I have read and seen shows his coaching career dating back to the early 90s in high school football and he started coaching in college in 2007?
  7. IUWBB didn't make the tournament but will play in the WNIT and they will ply a home game at Assembly Hall...seeing it all over Twitter right now
  8. No he didnt. I just saw it on Twitter now
  9. Dan Woike ‏@DanWoikeSports 4h4 hours agoLos Angeles, CA Troy Williams (Indiana) was scratched from the Clipper workout today, replaced by Louisville's Damion Lee
  10. I just don't see it. All of the takeaways from the Combine was that he was underwhelming in every aspect. His play in the 5 on 5 didn't really show an NBA player according to everything I've read.
  11. He said in an interview at the combine that he has two more classes plus an internship to complete before he graduates
  12. So basically you are telling us something we all already know. The scouting report was that he was very athletic, a great rebounder, and needed work on his jumpshot....
  13. Van Fleet from Wichita State was selected as an alternate as well. Another All-American. Kind of ridiculous that neither one was invited.
  14. Michigan has been open about forcing players out lately. Same with Duke. Its hardly just a problem at IU.
  15. Maybe I missed it somewhere but I just read online that Vince Edwards is testing the NBA draft waters..... I feel bad for a lot of these kids that I see declaring. Granted Edwards and multiple others aren't hiring agents but its still scary.
  16. The NCAA already declared that he can transfer anywhere, even in conference. UM has no say in it now.
  17. Tried out and didn't make the team his sophomore year but played JV
  18. I didn't even realize it until I read your post. For someone reason my computer wanted to autocorrect Goodluck to "Godlike" hahaha. Maybe thats what Goodluck will name his firstborn
  19. Godlike already left. He announced is plans to transfer not long after the Maui Invitational
  20. "Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com provided more details to the eligibility questions surrounding Maker. NBA rules require players to be 19 years old and a year removed from high school. While Maker turned 19 in February, he attends Orangeville Prep in Canada. Essentially, the NBA has to buy the premise Maker was part of the 2015 class and did a post-graduate year for him to be eligible for the draft."
  21. This what I've been talking about with friends for the past few years. There are too many talented teams in the state and in the surrounding states for us to play so many cupcakes. I know the cupcake schedule comes down to money but I'd like to see us play Evansville, IUPUI, IPFW, Valpo, and Ball State every couple of years if not every year. Those teams would be better competition then the cupcakes we usually play
  22. I'd pass as well. Injury problems and is a defensive liability more than Zeisloft and JBJ. He didn't play at all this year because of hip surgery and he has had them in the past. He would be a great leader but thats about it. We may not have the most experienced guards next year but with Rob, JBJ, Newkirk, Cujo, Niego, and Gelon all in the mix I think we have enough guard wise.
  23. Yeah I expect UNC to get a slap on the wrist. Syracuse's issues went back years and they barely got any sort of punishment. The NCAA is a joke as far as integrity goes.
  24. This is a pretty in depth conversation about someone who hasnt even announced intentions of transferring hahah. I think we are all ready for gameday
