    Brian Snow of 247 was on kent Sterling today and said that next week everyone should expect to hear Brooks’ decision and that all four of the finalists (UNC, Michigan St, Kentucky, and Indiana) seem to be neck and neck.

    I reached out to a few of the best writers on Twitter and got a DM from one that IU has only interviewed two people so far. One was Canada and the other was a “big 12 assistant”. This writer also said the last week, it’s gone silent on IUs end when before there was a lot of talk going on.

    They also waiting until after college coaching changes and now then NFL frenzy has hit so it seems like the busiest time ever to look for someone. I am surprised how silent and quiet the whole thing has been

    Hearing that Stewart is really pushing Brooks about Michigan St. Seems to be closer to 50/50 now between IU and Michigan St

    I remember having so much hope during that first game cause they lined him up in the backfield and as a receiver. They ran a few screens, they handed it off, they ran a few WR sweeps with him (and Whop). It seemed like after that monster game Scott had and when Whop went down, they completely changed offense back to conservative Debord.

    It’s only a matter of time with recruiting that once someone IU is after chooses another school that we as the fan base find someone reason that we didn’t want him after all. The hat thing is dumb, but these are also 17/18 year old kids.

    I’m afraid that Debord is probably here for another year. That being said I did see a couple of analysts and writers say there is stil a chance. They wouldn’t have fired him before signing day because of number of coaches out recruiting so there’s still a small glimmer of hope that he’ll be gone

    Exactly! I’d rather have two solid options. There’s been too many years when the drop off from QB1 to QB2 has been drastic. Wilson was supposed to be the Quarterback guru but it looks like Wilson has out recruited him when it comes to quarterbacks (and probably overall)

    Tuttle was also a true freshman last year behind two upperclassmen on the depth chart. This may mean that they are going to give Penix all the time he needs to properly heal up. Also just because Penix looked promising, the team needs competition at every spot. That’s what the big programs do. Bring in a lot of talented players and let them battle it out.

    I don’t think it’s a done deal that they will hire one. I think Allen just mentioned that he is open to the idea, that’s all. No news so far on the OC and the DC is killing me

    Plus IUs offense under Debord has shown no ability to but the all in the hands of playmakers. Look at what Purdue did with Rondale Moore and it’s easy to see who a WR would choose

    Cancelled visits to Iowa and Ohio St. I’m afraid this isn’t a coincidence with the Brohm news today. Him and Moore would be a lethal combo
