  1. So from now on, just for you, I will begin every one of my posts with "In my opinion". Of course everyone on here is speaking their opinion..its a freaking message board hahaah. If anything anyone said was a fact, they would probably be working as an analyst.  you don't agree with my OPINION of Bluiett, I got that after the first time you made it known. Thank you. hahah
  2. You evidently didn't read my post very well….I added in there that I know it was just an all star game. but when all the other players were looking to set each other up the whole game, then you have ONE player out of both squads that doesn't want any part in sharing the rock, its just an interesting thing to notice. I forgot that everyone else here backs up their claims with facts. Oh wait…...
  3. Well you answered your own question. You said his "wanting to be the man" didn't jive with his interest in MSU and his commitment to UCLA. Well I don't know if you knew this but he chose Xavier, not MSU, not UCLA, not anywhere where he is really going to have to compete to get his shots or comets to get into the starting lineup. Sorry I can't seem to pull up any article that has a direct quote from Bluiett saying "Yes, in fact dear sir, I desire to be the number one option and not play under anyone". But if you watch the way he plays and how his whole recruitment went down, its pretty easy to make some pretty strong "assumptions". After all we are on a message board where everyones post are 99% assumptions……...
  4. How doesn't it "jive" with the whole idea he chose to not go to MSU and he decommitted from UCLA. He chose Xavier, where he will start from day 1 and be the man on the team. The kid can score no doubt. I saw him play with the Indiana all stars and I counted the number of times he passed in the half court offense….big fat 0. I know its an all star game but the rest of the squad was still playing team ball. He has a great game but definitely is a me first type player. This is another classic example of a kid having no interest in even coming to Indiana and all people want to do is blame Crean for something.
  5. That still three weeks of classes
  6. The real question is , if he hasn't even been admitted to the school yet, how would he academically be able to play this year. We are over a month into the academic year so he would've missed over a month of school and classes. Athletes get it real nice in college. All the benefits. Oh but wait, they are being deprived and the schools are taking advantage of these kids blah blah blah blah blah
  7. Well we went after Blackmon Jr hard and guess what…….WE GOT HIM. Blueitt made it known that he wanted nothing to do with IU and the same could be said with Lyle
  8. Bluiett wanted to be THE man. He didn't play play beneath Yogi or JBJ's shadow
  9. I don't think it had much to do with it cause if you look at it, he could've gone to Vanderbilt because IU is now over signed. He could have definitely played beside Baptiste. Baptiste is more of a true center and Morgan is more of a 3/4
  10. Let's celebrate and appreciate that we got Juwan first
  11. "Near his potential" is the key. I had a huge congo about this with someone else on here, but I just don't see Yogi leaving early unless something HUGE happens with the team.  As a pg especially. The NBA execs will look at the player as an individual (stats) and on how they lead a team. If Yogi puts up wonderful stats, but the team does absolutely terrible, it makes a difference. I love Yogi as a player and I'm a huge supporter of his but I just do not see him leaving early happening whatsoever. If he was guaranteed a spot in the first round I could see it, but as a player you really don't want to be taken in the second round. You don't get a guaranteed contract. A team could choose you and if you don't come to some sort of contract agreement, they still have your rights.
  12. Just depends on how he scores. He needs to improve his shooting and defense drastically. He is a great athlete and I love to watch him play, but there are a million guys with his size and his athletic ability that are playing in Europe wishing they would've stayed in school longer and are dreaming of the NBA. He could for sure go to the NBA but in order to be up in the lottery or even mid first, he has to shoot better and play better defense. Apart from some highlight reel worthy dunks last year, he didn't really do much else.
