  1. Oh I was just kidding hahah
  2. Don't let the door hit you on the way out hahah. I mean seriously come on?! If something like that will effect your "fanship" thats pretty absurd
  3. I also just read an article saying that Syracuse has been losing contact with him? With him coming to campus this weekend and us being his last visit, I like our chances!!
  4. Roster management isn't always about the coach. Kids are free to choose. Crean is not the only one who does it. Pitino does it just as much, if not more than Crean.
  5. I think it's only that way now cause he has had interaction with Syracus and Mizzou so far and none with us so far. If he gets on campus, meets the team and plays with them some, I think its a game changer.
  6. If it was Blueitt, that would be awesome. That kid could start on this team. Great player
  7. I don't really want Lyle but I am also am not someone who is "cheering and singing praises for members of our current team with a duo and illegal consumption convictions". Not cool to stereotype man lol. I've just heard he is a head case, could be wrong, but I just don't think we need a head case or another guard for that matter hahah But if he ended up here, I would support him. I just think the chances are slim. We've gone after him hard twice now. Before his first commitment and after he de-committed. Maybe if we are the only ones going after him he will come.
  8. I think there is a bigger difference. Kasongo's problems seemed to be more grades. The kid is from Canada, with what I guess are immigrant parents. Moved around a lot of schools here in the US, so it came off as mysterious to a lot of programs. Lyle I think is just a head case. Grades as well, but mostly I think  he is a bad apple. If Kasongo develops into something I wouldn't mind IU keeping an eye on him, but unless Yogi and JBJ leave for the NBA after this year (Which I don't think they will) I want IU to stay as far from Lyle as they can
  9. They are not allowed to practice with the team at all, but can play pickup games with guys from the team. My guess is that he did because every visiting recruit does
  10. No other OV's scheduled. From everything Ive read from the so called "experts" and "insiders" is that he will announce within two weeks
  11. He is the same size as Juwan Morgan. They guarded each other in the games that they played against each other. Look on the ITH story about OG and look at the picture
  12. Okay rebel, you've convinced me!
  13. I have only been on here a short while and from day one people made personal remarks, I aint the first. You yourself made it personal with your post (calling the kettle black anyone?). I thought this place would be cool to come on and get some good IU discussion and news and instead its been pretty bad. Of course the team hasn't been the best team in the nation the last few years but we have a lot to be proud of and look forward to. Too much doom and gloom in this place
  14. The reason you probably can't explain it is because Crean is the coach and you aren't hahah
  15. I've watched them. I frankly don't care. HE wasn't brought in to be a starter year one. Some guys are brought in to be a rotational player. If the guys at IU could develop Howard into being a decent defender then Priller will be just fine. I'm at least willing to give and take in a conversation, but seems like you already have your opinions about every player set in stone.
  16. And you must have watched some different games in Canada because priller didn't even play in every game…..
  17. Everyone on this site is soooo worried about this but at the same time, I'm glad we have a coaching staff making these decisions and not any one of us haha
  18. Every player has something to work on. Priller is way behind on his defense and his rebounding but he gets his shot off without any trouble. He already has the reputation among his fellow players that he has a deadly shot. Plus if you really watch that McGill game, he seems to hustle a little more than others when it came to saving a ball from out of bounds and getting back on D. He, like other players have a long way to go. I think this topic has been beaten beyond death. Its understandable that a lot of people didn't like that Crean brought in Priller and April, but for right now, they are on the squad that there is nothing anyone can do about it. hahaha
  19. Agree to disagree I guess
  20. I don't think Howard and Priller are a comparison at all. Howard was a post player and I think Priller's is more of a stretch 4/5. He is going to spend most of his time hitting jump shots and hitting the 3. While Howard was more of a garbage man down low for rebounds. But I do understand what you mean
  21. Well said rebelhoosier!
  22. No his shooting comes from all his stats added with video. I know you have your mind made up and nothing is going to change it but Im just saying Id rather have someone who can put the ball in the bucket (Priller) than someone who  didn't account for anything on offense (your example of Howard)
  23. I haven't seen him play defensively cause they haven't played any games yet hahah. Or yes Im going to let one small video clip determine what I think about a player. I'm just saying based off his shooting, the guy could be useful. Im not saying he is going to be the Big Ten player of the year anytime soon but if you had read my comment you would see that I pointed out his size and shooting.
  24. I definitely am with you on your last sentence. I think he comes out of his shell this year.
  25. I know all these things you've stated. I was more just putting that Perea idea out there cause it makes about as much sense as other conclusions made on here about players. I really hope Hanner comes out this year and plays as advertised. Hanner has been given the time to develop and adjust to the game, but now all of a sudden other players aren't being given the same. Im just saying that its gotten comical how people are already ready for certain players to transfer before we have seen them. I guess I'm just rooting for certain players to actually make an impact. I'd love to see Tim Priller stay with the team cause I think his combination of size and shooting is something we have never had and those stretch players are really useful. I think there are players , that if given the time necessary to develop, can add a lot to this squad. Of course you have to find space for guys like Morgan and Bryant. So it is definitely a complex
