Good teams will go right after Bryant from the tip off, get him in foul trouble, then have their way with us underneath. They will also give Yogi every chance to shoot his way into me first basketball. Iowa will absolutely kill us. I will say this would be a great year to get it done as the B1G is as weak as I have seen in a long time. Wisconsin is horrible; no wonder Bo bolted just like Spurrier. I see us as the 5th best team if we continue to beat who we should. Today starts that. Troy stepping up is the key but he needs to facilitate off the offensive boards and free throw line extended down. The freshmen's play has also been the difference this year; it's not JB's fault. They just happen to play better D and team ball.

I commented on the OSU game even though i had to miss it. Yes, 12-6 is still reaching.

A Letter to Coach Robert M. Knight- From the fans

Mellencamp did play the Bluebird in 88 gearing up for an upcoming tour. So you're saying there's a chance? I remember dime pitchers of beer at that place. -
Bob Knight set to return to the state of Indiana.

Players were treated much different those days. You dont even have to leave the state of Indiana and high school coaches as examples. Look at Woody Hayes who was Knight's hero. No, he doesnt owe us anything. No one is requiring you to go see him. Winning big with great kids is his true legacy and Myles Brand wouldnt have one without Knight. Knight secured Indiana's basketball blue blood history; Crean has done 10X more damage to the program with the players being arrested and such. Its not even close. -

He doesnt owe us or his players, although he jumps at every chance to do so(Landon Turner). You never read about his good deeds like the current coach pulling kids out of the snow or bible verses at Mcdonalds. He did more for Indiana than all of us put together and was fired by a dead man who only wanted his next promotion and subsequently wrecked our program more than Jerry Meyers or Sampson. He was set up to fail pure and simple and Myles Brand can rot in hell. Now, I am not saying Knight is perfect. His behavior sucked, how he treated his players sucked, and he is probably one of the biggest aholes to ever coach. BUT, he was our ahole that his teams played hard, smart, graduated, and won multiple NCAA championships. He is a dinosaur who we will never see again in coaching. Maybe thats a good thing but those banners belong to him as much as anyone. Hope you make a bunch of cash Mr Knight. -
Booing was my friend and customers observation during her game back. I would like to get back any time even if Crean was coaching.

I only shared what was told to me, although I wasn't there. I am sure she wasnt mistaken though. Were you at this game?

Indiana vs OSU Post-Game Thread
schoosier replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Great win today but had to miss it. In years past would have been upset but times change. It sounds like we played very well which surprised me after watching the Wisconsin game. -
I hated to miss the game but was working a trade show. Ran into a good customer from Indiana who is also a grad and went to the Morehead State game. She said there was definate booing when Crean came out into the court, and she could not believe how empty Assembly Hall was. We reminisced about the good ole days when the hall was packed for every game even during Christmas break. Crean has lost most of the fans and short of a final four run must go. Winning big is what he hasnt done.

End this misery now. Time for payback against a terrible Wisconsin team and we cant break 20 by halftime.

Indiana @ Nebraska - Post-game thread - 1/2
schoosier replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Probably our best game played all year. We need to forever scrap the 3 guard lineup and design more plays to flow thru TB. Troy does not need to dribble and OG needs more minutes. I would also scrap the 3 man weave up top as it just kills time and doesn't effectively get us in a position to succeed. Kill the 3 man weave! -

Refs swallowing the whistle on our end. Time for coach to earn his paycheck and start working them. This discrepancy is outrageous. Nebraska is mugging us just like the first half. -

Lots of blonds on that Nebraska squad although it comes from a bottle. Most of the blond hotties reside down here in the south. -

Our offense's only movement is with the dribble which makes it hard to feed Bryant. Unless we're doing the Harlem Globetrotters shuffle, most of everyone just stands and watches the ball. Bryant does a lot of the high ball screening, and we should do more screening to get him open. He is our best weapon yet most of the time he is 20 feet from the basket.
