  1. All but a handful since the General have been bad. Davis ending, Sampson getting fired before the end of year, and Creans decade have been a wasteland for Indiana basketball. The lows >highs.
  2. This. We would need official approval to go into discussions without the "Fogler" buffer with any coach under current contract.
  3. Billy Donovan coaching lessons 101. Today's lesson is for our very own TB. Even though many say he will not be back, can you see how 1 year under Billy D could definitely help him. "Drop your foot Thomas!"
  4. He already recruits better in Indiana than Crean.
  5. Anyone watching air traffic? Just thought I would throw that out there.
  6. To the original poster, look up Eddie Fogler. He gets paid to do exactly what you say doesn't occur.
  7. Isn't Hartman the only SR? Creans gonna have a lot of time to speak and normally he has a lot of coach speak. This is much different from his last post game pressors which avg 2 minutes a piece.
  8. Pending legal action should raise a big red flag and then some. Should this disqualify him from consideration at Indiana? Probably, when you think the Sampson years are not that long ago. Plus, if you want an up and coming coach, you go nail down Archie asap.
  9. We can't even block out. Cost us the last game...Still can't do it. That is Tom Creans Indiana basketball.
  10. We can be really good when we make our shots. Plus Iowa horrible.
  11. I appreciate you bringing this which refutes the "great recruiter" tag Crean always gets labeled. Now we're down to his kids graduate, so it's not all against him at this point.
  12. While it may be a destination job, I wouldn't call it a blueblood with infinite amounts of history. You may be getting them confused with us on those points.
  13. Funny article. A better piece would show Marshall leading us back to glory. He is infinitely better than Crean, and we would see it day one. No more freaking cheerleaders!
  14. His teams play great d and I like that. But damn that offense is slow. Never looking for fast break opportunities isn't Indiana basketball either. He would be a huge upgrade; not saying much I'm sorry. I just see many others I would take first.
  15. The more I watch Bennett, I would take a pass. His dad's teams were very slow but the paint has literally dried up the Miami game. Halftime 19-21. A few of VA first half possessions reminded me of the exact opposite of Crean. Walk it up, move very slowly on offense, then take a bad 3. I'm surprised Larranga hasn't put on a press and force the action like NC. Miami has more talent and a good coach.
  16. Also, our last Indiana Mr. Basketball was 2011. Maybe Crean meant closing the border was his own ability to whiff in IN.
  17. Coca Cola Roy putting one on Bennett. I did see a timeout followed by some free throws so much better than our current.
  18. Were you a lottery pick?
  19. As much as I want Crean out, I don't want him at SC either. I live in Gamecock country, and I hope Frank stays for a few more years.
  20. Very true so the likes of Volleyball and women s tennis get full rides. Baseball should get full rides
  21. I want to go back and hope to. My family is here now, and I just haven't prioritized it. It wouldn't be complete if I didn't take in a game, and I would be just as miserable watching Crean coach in person as in front of my TV.
  22. He has a perfect storm to fight. He needs top level recruits to compete in the ACC which he hasn't gotten. He plays in easily the best league. And he has lost some close ones. I tell my many Clemson fans to be more patient with him. He should also parlay the football success to help his program more. He'll I would let Dabo help me recruit.
  23. Very true and this needs to change especially with the $ involved in college athletics. They have to be creative with other scholarships also.
  24. I haven't seen anything either way on Donovan, but this may be the only time I could go for a 10 year contract. I'm sure his next one for Crean in his back pocket could get easily pencilled in with Donovan instead. Now that gives me faith!
