I was a student at Indiana so I would qualify from you're statement above. I live out of state and haven't gone to any games since RMK. The sorry state of our teams leads me to not miss it up close, as I've seen this s__tshow plenty on TV. As far as facilities upgrades, hasn't Purdue added a basketball facility and upgrades to Mackey? He'll, Clemson did at a football school, so what has Glass done that no other AD isn't doing with facilities? While these are great, I can point to endless other schools who have done just as much. He gambled and lost on Creans contract, and this is the most important fact when it comes to Indiana athletics.

I just don't believe Glass has done this. Hope he proves me wrong.

Whether we want to believe it or not, Glass' legacy will be what he does or doesn't do in the next few weeks. He will always be linked to the tan one.

Greenspan was horrible along with his predecessor. I'm obviously no fan of Glass either. I believe that has been the biggest reasons for our demise along with Satan himself Myles Brand. Not having a competent AD has killed us getting the right basketball coach.Now we have a fanboy.

Just take a look at NC State. Gottfried has done more since V I believe and got canned before the end of season. 6 years, 4 NCAA's & 2 Elite 8's. Creans never been there in 9 years at Indiana yet nothing's been done. That's on fanboy Glass and only him. Do you believe our Aussie PRS has a clue about Indiana b-ball?

And this is why it's Indiana. Glass has to get it right and creaning Crean is the start. I really believe Miller is ready for prime time, and could be the next Bobby knight. If he's not, that's always a risk. We just can't keep going along with no banners in sight.

Yes, IU>VA now add in Wiscy could be a possibility the way they are skidding. Maybe not this year, but it could open and losing him could be be feasible. I do like him better than others being discussed though.

I believe you will start seeing more screens for JBJ His skill set just isn't built for the shake n bake. I also question the legendary pre game workouts as it relates to players health. The one I saw footage of Crean had the death stare and they were moving at a good pace. The manic persona has to really grate on the players over a long season.

Situationally, too, Crean has been bothered with the team’s lack of attention to detail. At critical times when opponents have mounted quick runs, the IU coach has been disappointed by forced or quick shots instead of taking time to open more efficent opportunities around the floor. This quote is exactly opposite of the "everyone has the green light" comments attributed to him and play faster. The idea of valuing possessions is 9 years too late.

Very true. Won a case of beer bet picking Syracuse to go to final four at the start of year. Funny neither of us picked IU. Lots of unanswered questions going into the season that Smart and Garrett answered. Of course we also had the General.

$$$$ but sometimes results get in the way. Yeah we have a nice Assembly Hall we get to lose to Mich in and cut down nets after losing. Hang sweet 16 banners and hope for 7 win football seasons. I guess I'm jaded as we hung a real banner while winning the Big 10 in football when I was in school. Very sad though that Glass also was a student for one of those other banners.

Sure we can agree to disagree; we are finally on the same page as it comes to Crean so we've made a lot of progress. This is Glass' baby and the great rebuild Crean has done only counts when you hang real banners.

Even though he's not a Hoosier, I believe he appreciates the importance of locking up the state and Midwest recruiting. Heck, we ended his playing career the last time we hung a banner(real one). I believe anything is possible although I have serious doubts Glass can get it done. After Stevens, he's my next call.
