That chop drill was the reason I only went to the Bob Knight b-ball camp once growing up lol. Taylor University was a better experience for me as a little baller. it was a beautiful moment that needed to happen and one I personally didn’t think would. The curse was born because he wouldn’t come back. He’s been back so the curse is gone. It’s that simple. Hopefully, this spurs the university to hire an athletic director who has a plan to return us to prominence. It won’t be easy and we can see how far we need to go. But there’s a clean slate now and I’m excited for that.

Purdue imposing their will underneath as usual when they play us. Letting Haarms push us around is disgusting to watch. It doesn’t take talent to want to play defense.

I live in Columbia, SC and Martin is as good as anyone IU has had since Knight. If Archie doesn’t make it I would give Beard the blank check over Martin though.

Oh hell no. Davis quit on his own team so even Crean ranks ahead of him post Knight. Plus, the FireMikeDavis web sight got me started on the misery sharing with other fans/graduates that I still feel today. Hopefully, it ends today with the General back in his house.

Barnhizers’s dad Mark was a Purdue recruit and big scorer/ sharp shooter out of Lapel and played with a cousin of mine mid 70’s. Those Lapel teams would have won a state championship if we had class basketball way back then. Dallas Hunter was their legendary coach.

Sad fact is every winning program cheats in today’s college basketball. Top players win championships and costs top $ to get them to play for your school. Bobby Knight didn’t cheat but he always had top talent. I am willing for our coach to do what every other blue blood coach or program is doing to attract top talent. It appears Archie is not going to get it done sadly. No more up and coming coaches; we need one that already knows the machinations of sleezy handlers and bag men and aau ball. I don’t want Pearl though lol.

What a complete bummer maybe next game. It’s a long season we need to regroup quickly.

How hard is it for a coach to say you give no effort you sit? Hate to pick on Smith but he throws it away and walks back down the court. Changing the culture starts with changing the effort. Damn sick of no effort or hustle; I don’t care how much talent you have.

This game determines Archie’s future. At home an Indiana coach wins. That’s the importance.
