0-7 vs Purdue. How can our fans and alumni stand to live in Indiana when we suck this bad? Nice guy but cannot coach nor recruit with a strategy to win games. It’s time Dolson. Fire Archie and give someone a chance.

I don’t personally know him as he was younger, and I moved to SC. But he was a helluva player; committed to a D1 school and followed his coach to Wright St. He could jump out the gym and I believe he played pro ball overseas for a number of years. I played against the likes of Troy Lewis and Steve Alford, and we had a good team at the time for a county school.

With the closure of Anderson Highland, I have heard Shenandoah has become a larger school. At any rate they could always ball. I attended Pendleton Heights and we played both schools annually.

Bad basketball has to end.

Yes, more painful than Davis quitting on his last team. More painful than Crean collapsing against Syracuse being the #1or 2 seed with 6/1000 point scorers. More painful than the Sampson debacle and Dakich running everyone off the team. Even more painful than getting your a$$ kicked every year by Purdue. Indiana basketball plays hard 100% every game and every year no matter the coach and players. But not last night.

I agree Archie is a likable coach, and I thought he was a great hire and have supported him until this year. Crean definitely wasn’t likable and was weird in just about every way I can think. But, Crean recruited shooters(although he ran one of his best off the team which cost him big) and some of the best big men Indiana has had in a long time with Zeller, Vonleh, and Bryant. He just wasn’t talented enough in coaching to get us back to the final four. I have never witnessed an Indiana team totally give up like last night, and we have had a lot of lows since Knight was sent packing. Because of this I think our culture is as bad as it’s ever been and the main reason he has to go.

Archie has lost the team, and you could see it in the effort our players had in the second half. Rutgers dunking on every break and rubbing our noses in it. As bad as Indiana basketball has been since Knight, last night’s game was the worst I’ve felt since 2000. And that includes Davis not coaching one game, Dakich coaching any game, and Crean’s sideline antics and coach speak at pressers. With Glass out I think we have a man with the courage to hire an Indiana guy in some capacity even though some Hoosiers may not like it. The 85 IU special showed what a real coach can do with talented players that buy in as a team and family. Go Hoosiers!

Who would have thought Tom Crean was a better coach than Archie Miller? We have really hit rock bottom at Indiana.

I’m only watching to get to the 85 Hoosiers immediately afterwards. It will remind me Indiana once was a basketball school.

I saw Belien on tv before the game. I would take him over Archie in a heartbeat.

We’re up 2 and get screwed on a call on the offensive end and our coach just acts like business as usual. Hard to expect your team to play hard when your coach doesn’t coach hard.

Poor coaching and floor leadership. Great to see Al playing well but not sure why Rob is getting any minutes.

In conference games only, Indiana is just No. 11 in the Big Ten in adjusted defensive efficiency. They are No. 12 in effective field goal percentage defense, a figure inflated by allowing conference foes to shoot a league-worst 36.7 percent from 3-point range. The heralded pack line defense has been winless against both Purdue and Michigan in Archie’s tenure. It’s also not very good against the rest of the Big. So what does Indiana do well now? The writing is on the wall for us to give someone else a shot.

I’m thinking he’s into the teens now. To put it honestly, he has more air balls on 3’s than all the Indiana games I have watched in my lifetime. I really like his game but damn, he needs reps.

I’m all in for the Reddit approach. What do you suggest? I can’t take another 20 years of s__t basketball.
