Yeah we can see that from the 1-2 min clips he plays. Give him some time to make mistakes and get into the flow of the game. Especially when Rutgers is kicking your arse. We ain't going anywhere. Did I not see Geranimo hit back to back 3s at the end? Who knew.

Just not much incentive. If I have 3 mil in my pocket, an extra $25-$50k doesn't mean all that much. Maybe not worth the extra effort. And then I'm sitting on a 10 mil buyout. Talk about fat and happy.

I'll tell you what. If money is the problem, hire me for a year. I'll coach them for min wage and an apartment by Nicks. I'll keep guys like Roberts on staff, and we'll run an up tempo offense which will attract the recruits. I'll guarantee wins against the likes of Rutgers and Northwestern -- we'll run them out of the building. Hell I'll even get new uniforms for the team and the cheer leaders to satisfy some of you all. We'll have a blast and at least be fun to watch. When the right guy is ready, I'll gladly step aside and hand him the reins. My buyout -- $1 and a pitcher of beer at Roys. We may not be any better record wise, but we won't be fading into oblivion either. :)

I hate talking about the kids. It's not their fault Archie recruited them. This mess is all, 100%, on the adults.

"Forget" the fan base. Hire someone who knows how to coach and can build a program. Fans get behind a winner.

Has nothing to do with knowing anything. Many of us would rather have the dude behind the counter at Big Red liquors coach this team.

So he should have brought Thad on as a bench coach. Like Tex Winter to Phil Jackson. Get's Thad that taste of basketball without the stresses of being "the guy."

Nope. Archie is the one who messed up the hire. He was given a plateload of opportunty only to squander it out of stubornness. His failure to adjust and adapt is his down fall. Nobody to blame but him.

That smart shot is the first picture on my Iphone, ever. Took it off the TV when I caught a replay of the game. Had the opportunity to meet Daryl Thomas when he was coaching at a kids tourney. Showed it to him. He loved it. I'm sick, I know. Where is that 12 step program? :)

One thing the first 10 min showed you -- success brings on more success. The kids who grew up in the 70s watching the IU run, became the players of the 80s runs. Forget all the talk about facilities, uniforms, etc. Just win baby.

As I have said before, I would take the kid who coaches the AEPi rec team over this crap. What's Jordan Hulls up to? :)
