Probably need a longer time period to reference. But to me here is a symptom of the problem. Years ago, when HD tv came out I caught the Little 500 on tv -- I think it was Cuban's channel at the time. Fast forward to today. I can watch a freaking hot dog eating contest on ESPN, can watch 12 year olds play baseball in August, but can't find the Little 5 anywhere (ok, it steams online). How much money have they left on the table for the student foundation? What kind of national publicity did they give up? It could have been huge. Duplicate that for basketball and these days, football. Someone has to have a GE mentality -- we want to be the best at everything we do. Academics, athletics, etc. If you're not first, your last.

Archie needs to get out of his mid major mindset and adapt is defense and offense for the better talent he can get at IU. You cannot be a one trick pony in this league. You need a semblance of balance, even if you identify as a defensive team.

That was as fun the second time as it was the first. That team, those players, did a lot of good things in the short time they where together. Oladipo was a beast.

Well it was nice to see Archie with a little red @$$ after the game. Stand up for the program rather than say a bunch of political correct bull crap. I’m going out on a limb. Assuming we get in the tourney and don’t face a 1 seed right off the bat, we are going to make a little run. It will be nice to see what this team can do outside the officiating of the WWF that is the Big10.

I would like to see us in a league with different officiating. Big ten is like the WWF.

Why? Baseball teams have hitting coaches. Sure there are many ways to shoot, but there are certain fundamentals which need to be present. It's the coach's job to watch and see if those fundamentals are there or breaking down. Nothing wrong with a professional set of eyes saying "this seems off."

Al, or anyone on the roster, should be able to handle the ball in a critical situation.

I was going to defend JS till I got here. This is on the coach. I have no problem if he wants to be the 2. But he’ll be behind Bieber on the depth chart. Just like in baseball. You can play right field or you can be left out.

Nothing like punching them in the face. Maybe they’ll wake up.

Why can’t we just hire the new AD and move Glass to emeritus status. No reason to have a lame duck AD.

Or he can use the donations like states use the lottery money. They add it to the b-ball program and then take “other money” from the program and use it elsewhere.
