  1. The people who are about to invest tens of millions of dollars care. In my opinion, they are placing way too much stock in his father's beliefs and attitude, but this is certainly something I'd flag if I were a GM. Agree though, the Raiders are the big winners here. What a steal for a really talented QB.
  2. Luckily, we're not in need of a scorer. If he can provide a spark off the bench, do some dirty work rebounding in the post, and use his athleticism to annoy the crap out of opposing offenses, that's a win.

  4. Correct, we are currently oversigned by one, with two NBA decisions pending. Seems odd that we're still looking at another player unless both Troy and JBJ are hiring agents, or at least one is and someone is transferring.
  5. So are we just leaving this door open in case Troy and JBJ actually stay in the draft? Seems odd
  6. I think I might be undervaluing Wisconsin, and potentially overvaluing the impact Michigan State's recruiting class will have their first year in the B1G. Definitely see a top tier of Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan State, with a strong second tier of Michigan, Purdue, Maryland, and Ohio State. Some of the bad teams from last year certainly look like they will be more formidable like Penn State, Nebraska, and Northwestern.
  7. I don't think you have a full vision of the situation. You are overly confident that your narrow views encompass everything that should be considered. Not a recipe for success my man. Good luck.
  8. You're calling Priller out from behind a username sitting at your computer. The kid is working and trying to do something he loves. You shouldn't rip him for accomplishing something you could not.
  9. Tbh, if I'm an NBA team, I don't really need to see either of them workout at the combine. They aren't athletic specimens and are borderline draft picks who I will invite to summer league. They are highly intelligent floor generals who are not NBA-level size. I'd much rather invite freaks like Troy Williams who I really don't know much about and need to see more of in person because they are potentially draft steals. Just my thought process.
  10. Yeah my Packers took Spriggs!
  11. Grant Gelon is ranked 299 by 247 and 311 on the composite
  12. Yeah, lack of institutional control has proven to be the heaviest hitter of all allegations. Maybe not to any individual team, but the athletic department as a whole.
  13. What a great day for sports journalism. First Skip Bayless, now Albers!
  14. I'll take our talent over theirs though. Juwan Morgan, Thomas Bryant, and OG as sophomores in the front court.
  15. New DraftExpress Mock Draft Board has Yogi drafted with the 57th pick! http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2016/
  16. The B1G doesn't seem like it will be very strong next year. http://www.insidethehall.com/2016/04/26/early-look-whos-coming-going-big-ten-4/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+insidethehall+%28Inside+the+Hall+%7C+An+Indiana+Hoosiers+basketball+blog%29 My early predictions, if the basic assumptions made in the ITH article hold true: 1. Indiana (by far the most experienced/deepest roster in the B1G) 2. Michigan State (we'll see how their freshman perform) 3. Wisconsin (Happ and Hayes, plus Koenig and Vitto Brown, Khalil Iverson should have a breakout season) 4. Michigan (A lot of experience here as well) 5. Purdue (Ryan Cline and Haas, plus I think Edwards and Swanigan return) 6. Ohio State (Predicting a much better team chemistry, and B1G POY JaQuan Lyle) 7. Maryland (I think Trimble is gone) 8. Penn State (Chambers is making some magic happen, plus a real solid recruiting class) 9. Iowa (Lost four seniors) 10. Nebraska (Returning Webster and added Anton Gill from Louisville) 11. Northwestern (Vic Law is back from injury and McIntosh is a stud) 12. Illinois (We'll see if Groce can keep his players on the court instead of in it) 13. Minnesotta (No faith in Little Dicky) N/A. Rutgers
  17. I think I read this in a Dana O'Neil article, but this essentially prevents the NCAA from punishing the men's basketball and football programs in any way that wouldn't be overturned in an appeals process.
  18. Probably because they're an NBA team
  19. So... One that you support a program with when you're loaded as a team, and looking to land some major prospects the following year. Sounds good to me!
  20. I mean, this is just a lot to imply because a kid is using a new rule to do what is best for him and his family as he tries to achieve his dreams. This sounds like a scorned girlfriend. End of the day, who cares why he's doing it. He'll probably be told to come back, and then it's on Crean to help him equate team success to achieving his NBA dreams. No need to start painting narratives that can't be supported by anything else than hearsay.
  21. You can give me Priller and April, and I can give you Davis, Holt, Zeisloft, Beifeldt, Hartman, Hoetzel, etc. Not everyone pans out, but the amount of confidence people seem to have that this kid will fail is very odd.
  22. I'm glad your confident in your own abilities. I'd suggest not putting money on this bet though. Nothing should lead you to believe that you could beat him one on one, but you believe it. So, why not believe that he'll surprise us? His high school performance has not been promising, but I'm wiling to give our coaching staff the nod in terms of talent evaluation before we've even seen this kid in college.
