Depends who scouted this one. With Coach Martin on the staff, also providing his scouting talents, I'm pretty comfortable with the coaching staffs ability to find the right players.

Crean clearly recruits a type of player, regardless of position. We saw that cause serious issues in 2014 with Vonleh's team, but otherwise it's working for him. I think there's a lot of uncertainty around JBJ and who will take on the PG role, and for an offense that's driven mainly from the wings/perimeter/transition, that's a pretty daunting question mark. I think most fanbases are hypocritical. We tout our commitment to the student-athlete, but the second we start recruiting one-and-dones I promise we wouldn't hear another word about it. Duke has quickly become a one-and-done factory in recent years. Tough to fulfill the student-athlete requirement the fanbase here demands in one year.

Sports are a platform for individuals to comment on politics and social injustices. There's nothing sad about the fact that everyone, individuals and organizations, has the freedom to take a stand against something they don't believe in. It'd be a sad world where individuals could not express their views and speak out against perceived injustice.
