Spineless cowards would support the actions of Coach K if he named himself the ACC Commissioner and took their salaries.

So Coach K looks like a bag of flaming dog turds with the whole tripping spree, right? I mean, grow a pair. Tough enough to threaten refs, but scared to punish your little star boy? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Honestly, you have to worry about yourself here. It's not worth risking millions of dollars on these games. They risked their health playing for the NCAA long enough to meet the minimum eligibility requirement, and there is zero benefit in continuing to take that risk. Will never understand what gives you the idea we may return Blackmon, OG, and TB. I'm withholding judgement on Freddie until next year. I don't think he was brought in to really contribute on the court this year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

He's played a heck a lot more than Priller and April did. He's averaging 8.7 minutes a game, contributing 3.1 PPG and 2.8 RPG. He's definitely seems like a player Crean expects to develop, but he's certainly not useless like those two. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

IUBB's B1G Conference Record Prediction Thread
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Had us going 13-5 in conference. Think that'll be good for an outright B1G Title given that there appears to be a lot of parity in the league this year. Maybe we could merge this with the other prediction thread dalton started? So far, I've only missed on the IPFW game. Here's to hoping UL is a W as well! https://btownbanners.com/index.php?/topic/9962-IUBB-2016-17-Season-Predictions/page__view__findpost__p__287308 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Did people notice some of the crafty drives by Newkirk in the second half of this game? It seems obvious he's trying to do too much, but there are some definite positives he brings to the team. I'm with HoosierCoop. I think he's still settling in to his role on the team. Sure he's been with us for a year, but these are his first two months of live action. Walking Boot of Doom replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
RoJo looked solid last night. We've got playmakers all over the floor, and need a PG who just doesn't try to do too much. I'm confident the team will settle in to the right roles as they work through the B1G schedule. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
(2019) SF Trendon Watford to LSU
Walking Boot of Doom replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Could probably keep it simple and start with IU offers? Or just have a predictions league where a few days before their announcement everyone submits picks? Might miss a few of the surprise pops, but we're not going for perfection here Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

lol I wasn't even in this but aight. Wayne, I'm not sure there is anything that CWat could have said that would of made you feel confident that we would land Trendon. As for your recruiting predictions, that's pretty subjective. Maybe we need to get a Crystal Ball going for the board [emoji48] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
Walking Boot of Doom replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Hilarious. Entire threads have discussed that we shouldn't waste resources on chasing the top talent like Romeo. We send zero coaches to his game, complaints about us not putting in effort [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Regarding Newkirk, his basic stats say he's performing at or slightly above his past level after a small number of games after missing an entire season due to injury. Also, as pointed out, his defense has been very impressive thus far. I think we're getting about what we should have expected from him, but I'm hoping and expecting improvement during the course of the season given how much time it had been since he played. http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/josh-newkirk-1.html Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

IU OVER unc POST GAME THREAD
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Dalton26's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I agree that Crean's teams struggles against that style of play historically, but historical data doesn't hold much merit outside of the current season. Different team, different strengths and weaknesses regardless of coaching philosophy and style. I like our chances against UL. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
IU OVER unc POST GAME THREAD
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Dalton26's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Agreed that Louisville's defensive style is typically our kryptonite, but disagree that we should just look at IPFW as an example of why we are in trouble against Louisville. IPFW is the outlier performance of our season so far. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Kevin Wilson Resigned
Walking Boot of Doom replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
In a sport where negligence towards injuries has led to serious long term medical issues (CTE), CKW's attitude and words are completely unprofessional and harmful. His biggest crime was being told by his boss to stop, agreeing to stop, and then continuing the same actions. Ditto to the coach who was fired for "grabbing a players elbow".
