I hear you, but if you look at all years outside of that 2012 and 2013 recruiting class, we have recruited high character kids. Those years, it seems like Crean varied from his approach. But your point is absolutely valid, and my fifth point is certainly debatable. Agree to disagree regarding recruiting falling off.

Agreed. I certainly will not argue with anyone that "respectable" is acceptable, but I am certain this fanbase would not find a program run like Kentucky or Louisville acceptable either, despite their impressive success. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

There's just nothing to discuss until March. Who was the last coach of a team with this much potential to be fired for a volatile non-conference performance that included two top-three wins and two sub-100 loses? I have no connections, so I would never hear this, but would not be surprised to find out that Fred has started sending out feelers again. I disagree with the rampant accusations and hate towards Glass. I think he's navigated a extremely treacherous path driving this program and all of the other athletic programs forward. It can't be argued that both the basketball and football programs are experiencing far greater success than when he arrived. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Id argue that hiring another coach outside of maybe a three person dream hire short list would be the definition of insanity. Change for the sake of change isn't always good. At least with Crean we can be fairly confident of a few things: 1) Recruiting will be above average 2) We will have success in the B1G 3) We will make the tournament 4) We will win really big games on national television 5) We will have a high character team and a clean program I don't see anyone out there currently worth the risk, but I also don't have all the resources and information available to find the right hire. Crean has the program operating at a very respectable level, and biding our time for the right hire could result in 30 plus years of positive return, instead of another 10 year coaching hire that leaves fans restless. What would Glass do if Crean turned out to be a convicted murderer? Get this garbage outta here Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

It sucks, but it is the smartest play here. Everyone posting in here is sick of mediocre success with Crean. Let's not rush into a mediocre hire expecting different results. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Yeah he's so lucky our McDAA elite scorer was lost for the season to injury. No way the team would've been able to improve with him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Obviously this doesn't account for the entire difference, but completely different offensive system. Crean's system almost guarantees you will produce turnovers at a higher rate. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Do our fans understand which games are biggest?

You'll see the biggest difference in the student section, most likely. Hence the reason for the increasing size and better placement for student tickets. They tweak their attendance to match the importance level of the game, where as the older crowd typically focuses more on convenience. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

It's a comedic website. But I don't think they're far off. That reaction was absurd. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I think it's more of a question of a moral line. Looks like our coach drew his, and I'm very comfortable with that decision. As for the police report and lack of charges, the deadspin article highlighted some seemingly important pieces of information that did not appear in the police report. Strange situation there... Ya know, I'm starting to understand why Duke produces so many insufferable pricks. Why hasn't Grayson Allen learned how to own up to the fact that this isn't a mistake and is a choice that he continues to make? Oh hi Coach!

Yeah... disagree strongly. None of that was consensual based on the reports. Not a good situation at all... Discrepancies between the university and police investigations are disturbing to say the least...
