Meh he actually fixed the program to the point where it can get you down the highway to the next repair shop that has the critical parts you need to actually work properly again. We got what we paid for at the time. We paid for the only repair shop in the middle of the desert, and it worked out well enough. Time to get the long term fix before we break down again. Alpha leader and lead guard is the void Yogi left. Low post scorer needs to become Davis. Lockdown defender and high ball IQ glue guy I'll argue is 100% Juwan Morgan. RoJo is a great supporting guard, but I think unfortunately a lot of our struggles are on Blackmon being such a liability on defense that you can't trust him on the floor late in a close game, and Crean for not having a true ball handler. He did go and get Newkirk, but he hasn't been good enough to replace Yogi's ability to facilitate the offense, which isn't exactly a surprising statement. There are plenty of ways in to college basketball, especially in the state that supposedly values the high school game so much. Plus, saying a good high school coach would do well as a college coach is like saying a good college coach would succeed in the NBA. All completely different challenges and styles.
