Maybe after his daughters are grown and out of Lubbock. He’s not gonna leave his kids for any other job.

1.) Chris Beard is gonna build TTU into a consistent national power. He’s not leaving Lubbock. 2.) Tom Izzo losing again in the Final Four is incredibly satisfying.

Romeo Langford - BCM Gravelines Dunkerque

That 2013 team with Garry Harris is what gets me. -
Wow. We had a kid on my HS team that never learned our base set through ALL 4 YEARS OF HS!!!! He got a TON of minutes. It’s either laziness or stupidity than can explain not knowing the offensive sets for that long. Crazy.

Romeo Langford - BCM Gravelines Dunkerque

Good for him and his family. He’s a special talent who, once his hand heals properly, will do very well in the NBA. He’s nearly impossible to stop from getting to the cup. That’s gonna get easier as there is way more spacing and he will be surrounded by plenty of shooters. Looking forward to following him and continuing to root him on. We should be thankful he chose to spend his one season in Bloomington. -
You called this. Days ago.

Fred Glass Retiring

Bruce Pearl would win big here. College basketball has proven itself to reward those who cheat, as long as they deny wrongdoing. It’s been over 40 years for us. I’m ready to win. As long as we aren’t paying hookers to polish......never mind. If the only rules we are breaking are NCAA Rules and not federal crimes, count me in. -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves

I forgot to mention a healthy Race Thompson. If this team can stay healthy, we can be really really good. -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
HoosierTrav replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It’s not always about how he directly matches up with the opposing player at his position. Deron, when on the floor, can hold his own. I think Brunk is much more equipped to come in and provide meaningful minutes when Deron has to go to the bench. He’s high IQ, has size, plays with energy on the defensive end and will have fresh legs and fouls to give. Not to mention that TJD will very likely have an advantage at the 4 offensively and is arguably the best shot blocker in this years class. Many of his blocks come from him being on the help side. If we add Brunk and TJD to a roster with a healthy Deron Davis, I believe we have a very formidable front court. We were desperately needing a rim protector and someone who could give us meaningful minutes when Deron was on the bench. Deron wasn’t our best player but he was the most important in regards to us being able to match up. Barring another swath of injuries to key players, I expect us to have a much better defensive team next season. We could be elite defensively. The pieces are there. Whether the staff can get them to that point is the big question for me. -
My gf would tend to agree with you here.

I have this gut feeling that they aren’t going to shart the bed this year. The next couple of years will be brutal if they make a final four. If they win a Banner, I may go into hiding for a decade.

Being an IU fan sucks.

(2020) SG Trey Galloway To IU
HoosierTrav replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Galloway is Colin Hartman reincarnate in my eyes. Go get him and Leal and let’s develop some good 4 year players that can easily be pieces of well balanced rosters that have final 4 potential. I’m so sick of chasing the biggest carrot and ending up hungry. It places so much burden on the staff to have to land multiple big fish each season and let’s be honest, that’s not who we are at this point. -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky
HoosierTrav replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
We have a 5* center, Mr. Basketball coming in next year. Something we DESPERATELY needed due to DeRon Davis’ health. Keion hurts but you’re not convincing me one iota that Archie has lost recruiting momentum. Quite the high expectations to think he is falling short bc he didn’t get two 5* recruits in his second class. If next years class stinks, I’ll start to inch into your side of the fence. -

HoosierTrav replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
If they did, we would never get a sniff from ANY halfway decent coach. If Archie Miller can’t win at Indiana, then the problem is much bigger and deeper than who’s the head coach. He was nearly unanimously regarded as a home run hire by national pundits and coaches. -

Archie got the last 2 Indiana Mr. Basketball’s and people are saying he’s losing recruiting momentum. You guys need to get a grip and try to think rationally. We don’t get ANY of the current Indiana recruits the last two years with the previous staff. -

HoosierTrav replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Let’s be honest: he chose the much better program at this point in time. We are so damn lucky to have TJD and the ones who’ve decided to come. We have a large hole to dig out of as a program. We desperately need Justin Smith to drastically improve. -
(2019) PF Matthew Hurt to Duke
HoosierTrav replied to goonaha's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Good grief -
This team is so confusing. And why is Deron Davis not playing big minutes against Wesson today? I hope there’s an explanation bc we are gonna get creamed with him on the bench.

(2021) SG Pierce Thomas to Butler
HoosierTrav replied to IUsafety's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Statistically speaking, a team is much more likely to beat a team 3 times than they are to lose the 3rd game. It sounds off but it’s the truth. At the NCAA div 1 level, the team that won the first two games, has won close to 70% of the games when matched up a third time. Crazy. We beat MSU on Friday. Mark it down. -
