Honestly I’d be more worried if our OC left, but thankfully Coach Allen is a defensive guy. Congrats to coach Womack! It’s nice seeing our coordinators leave for head coaching jobs instead of lateral moves to other staffs. So do you all think we hire someone outside the program for DC, or does someone like Coach Peoples, Coach Shelby or someone internally get the bump?

With the extension/raise he got last yr he is currently the 33rd highest paid coach in the country. I don’t see the school having an issue with bumping him higher if need be. His buyout as of 12/1 is $20 million, that’s the 14th highest in the country. A lot of people in that community are just as upset by that firing as Dakich is. Not to mention their school board had an emergency meeting at noon on a weekday and gave the coach less than 24 hrs notice about the meeting. Also the superintendent or AD(I don't remember which off the top of my head) son was on the team, sounds like Jr didn't get enough playing time and daddy got mad.
