    Good points but maybe the #1 team in the country’s current approach becomes more the way winning programs are built. Even if Cig did not initially think that way, he and others may see our success this year and think hmm maybe that is the way

    Seems NIL $ is the key but with football doing even better this year and with an older coach clearly a lot of $ goes that way. In order to build that high ceiling roster it seems we need an extra infusion of NIL $. Just not sure how much of that is out there for both.

    If Minnesota was the only bad game this is true, but we have had more bad than good with Lindenwood and Prillers school (can’t even remember their name). We haven’t really had good ball movement since maybe game 4.

    We are playing a 4th place schedule right? So the record could be a little misleading. Daniel Jones has played well against this schedule and I wanted to think we found a QB but the way he finished against KC creates a lot of doubts. Trading that many first rounders for a corner seemed suspect too. Future looks very challenging

    Sadly I expect he will get 2 quick fouls called on him when we play them.

    Yeah it could but like schools used to have a relationship with prep schools for basketball this could be similar. You help the kid with the right program where he can go and be qb1 or 2 right from the start. They run similar style offense and then if they take off you kind of already have that inside track at least.

    Lack of ball movement like we had in the first games, lack of effort and lack of movement have me more concerned. Those you can control. We will struggle with rebounding but losing the other controllable things will need quick correction.

    Wonder if teams will develop relationships with lower level teams where we can encourage a kid to go and get experience vs being 4th string here. Then if they develop we swoop back in

    This team had a chance to pull us back in and things looked good until the last 2 games. Maybe when we play better comp we will play with some sense of urgency and passion. Too easy to just basically show up and win. Now the apathy is admittedly coming back.
