Make a bold statement, walk it back, rinse and repeat. I like the lineup posted above too. In early noncon I want to see how RoJo runs the team as the lead guard. If RoJo isn't able to run as the starting lead guard JN and RoJo should start in the backcourt with Hartman, OG, and Bryant. JBJ and CuJo would have a lot of scoring punch for a second unit. JMor is a do everything kind of player that could play alongside that duo in the backcourt. This team should be deep and be able to handle an injury or two with players out for a few weeks. I've said it before but when has a regular starter for almost a whole season, let alone 2, come off the bench the following season? Pritch when there was a significant upgrade? Will Hartman go from basically two year starter to 6th man? I don't see JMor or DD as being huge upgrades. Will JBJ or RoJo come off the bench, if healthy? Not likely. Bryant? It's remarkable that Irving was talked about as a top 3ish point guard in the league before the start of the finals but now he's a third rate point guard. Love was talked about having turned it around hitting a bunch of threes and really getting his game tuned up for the finals. The Cavs set records for made threes in a series that lasted only four games. Now they're all trash but LeBron because the baby faced Warriors are taking their lunch money money, driving them home taking their parents lunch money, and then driving to their parents parents and taking they lunch money too. This will catch so much flak. He's been hyped since he was 16 that he's going to be the greatest. At 6-8 and 260ish he's able to do a lot of things other players his size can't do. However, his pure skill and ,most importantly, his mental makeup doesn't allow him to be near the greatest. He cares too much about what's going on around him or how people view him. Would Jordan or Kobe be playing around on Instagram or Twitter following and unfollowing the organizations account? Did either hold a hype event and talk about how many chips they're going to win and then not get anywhere close to that? They talked ish on the court and then backed it up. LeBron has done well by getting crap teams, before this and last year, to the finals but he needs a batman to win. I disagree about him beating SA Spurs. I think the Spurs would have taken them in 5-6. The east is a joke and the Cavs would have been the 4th best team in the west. LeBron is good but nowhere close to the greatest. There's probably a dozen or so players you could pick before him. People get upset because they already crowned him before he did anything and don't want to be wrong. I'm not sure I'd go to every location every year. I would like to see several two for one deals though. IU could rotate playing home games and an away game each season. 2016: Evansville (H), Valpo (H), IPFW (A) 2017: Evansville (A), Valpo (H), IPFW (H) 2018: Evansville (H), Valpo (A), IPFW (H) A home/home series with either Cincinnati or Xavier would be good too. Also, a few solid games on neutral courts. I love the idea of playing in Ft. Wayne for the fans up there. The Crossroads Classic will also provide another opportunity for a good matchup. If you have KenPom it's on the game statistics page. You could also get a little funky with it and do dReb%, stl%, blk%, FTR etc. I'm not sure of how in depth you wanted to go but you could definitely make it interesting like that and wouldn't be hard using KenPom site. I was actually thinking of doing a B1G challenge next season, during B1G conference. I haven't thought it all out or a scoring system. It would be picking winners/losers each week. You would also pick the score of one game at the end of the week as a tiebreaker. You could win the week and have part roll over for a B1G champ. I have no idea why you'd play a lineup just for more dunks. Crean would think of doing a Diet Coke keg stand before creating a best dunking lineup. Hoosier Hysteria should have a pretty good dunk contest this fall. I don't think OG has shown us anything of what he's capable of doing. McFly can get up on that level as well.
