I liked hearing Davis say Crean told him to work on his trail and corner threes. I get the feeling we'll see more DD/TB combos than Maximus/TB last season. I guess a lot of that will depend on DD's outside shot and how JMor and Freddie defend backup bigs. There were lineups early in the season with 3 defenders that were bad and Yogi not giving it his all on defense. Yogi bought in and started sitting down and defending, JBJ went down with injury, Z3 was working is butt off throughout the season and improved, and Troy was chasing waterfalls. I like the idea of having one of Troy and JBJ. I could have seen Troy and JBJ fighting to get theirs next season. If JBJ buys in ,like Yogi did last season, to winning and leading instead of auditioning this will be a really good team. It's crazy to think but if they would play like frosh TB they would get the team and themselves to where they want to go. I grew up with Alex. He's a good dude who comes from a great family. I read over his Twitter and it looks like he's pissed by misinformation. Alex usually doesn't announce, post, or tweet something unless it's absolutely true and he's verified. Others choose the fast and wreck less way of reporting. I can see where he's coming from though. Put Yogi on this team and IU is top 5 and one of only a few favorites for a natty next season. There will be a lot of talking heads saying IU is top 10/15 good but not a title contender because of no PG. We need a wing scorer if we're looking at being a top 10 team. I think we'll see more elbow jumpers and those turnaround fadeaway jumpers by Hartman more this coming season than in the past. OG and/or JMor upping their production while remaining efficient will help. If McSwain can be a lockdown defender or close we could really have a strong stable of post and wing defenders next season. I think a lot of it is what Troy wants. He's still in the "Sportscenter too 10" play mindset. It doesn't seem like he spent the time learning or practicing the nuances of the game. Troy could easily be an All-America if he cut back on the troyovers and getting out of controy and made the sure play. I do wish him the best whether he returns or stays in the draft. Agree! Although most of our marquee noncon games are neutral court this coming season with KU, Butler, and UL all being played at a neutral site. The season after is road games with ACC and UL being away games. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
